What Khamsat publishes about its own fees

We publish a competitor’s number only when that competitor publishes it themselves. Khamsat does, in two places on its own domains.

  • Seller commission: 20%. Khamsat’s own How It Works page states a commission of $1 for every $5, deducted from the seller and not passable to the buyer. Its own help centre states the same as 20% of seller earnings, with a worked example of a $10 platform fee on a $50 order.
  • It holds the money and releases it on acceptance. Khamsat describes an escrow-style flow: funds are held and released to the seller after the buyer accepts.
  • It runs entirely in Arabic. There is no English interface anywhere on the site or its help centre. Its name means “fives”, after the $5 entry price the marketplace was built around.
  • Khamsat and Mostaql are run by the same company. Both About pages name Hsoub Limited, registered in the United Kingdom under company number 07571594.
