Switch from 99designs to Zinn Hub

99designs runs on contests: many designers submit, one is chosen. Zinn Hub runs on orders — you publish fixed-price design Zinns and a buyer purchases one at checkout, so every brief you take on is a paid engagement. Your first $500 in sales is commission-free.

Three ways to earn · 0% on your first $500 · Prices in USD

Six things worth weighing up before you move

Every marketplace is a set of trade-offs. These are the questions worth asking of any platform, answered here for Zinn Hub only — we do not publish figures about anybody else that we cannot read at source.

You want every brief to be a paid brief

A Zinn is bought before the work starts: the buyer chooses a package, pays at checkout, and you deliver against the brief. Nothing is produced on the chance of being picked. Browse the Graphics & Design category.

You want a rate that falls as you grow

On Zinn Hub the seller rate is tied to your lifetime sales: 0% on the first $500, then a ladder that steps down to 8%, or a flat 8% or 7% on a paid membership. Your rate is not fixed for life on day one.

You want the money in your own account

Connect your own Stripe or PayPal and buyers pay you directly at checkout. Zinners on platform-protected payments are paid from the payout queue once the order completes.

You want more than one way to be found

A fixed-price listing is one route to a sale. Projects and the Freelancer Directory are two more, and all three run from the same account.

You want a low-risk way to test a new service

A Micro Zinn is a fixed-price service at $5, $10, $15 or $20 — cheap enough for a buyer to try you on, and a fast way to find out whether an idea sells.

You want buyers outside your own language

Zinn Hub renders in 45 site languages and you can be messaged in 12 more — 57 in total. Buyers can view prices in 59 display currencies, and everything is charged in USD.

How to move your 99designs listings across

No application to fill in and nobody to wait for: the Import My Services tool does the rebuilding, you check it and confirm.

  1. Register as a Zinner

Registration is free and open. Create your account, then save your My Details preset in the AI Zinn Creator — a two-minute one-off that unlocks Import My Services in your dashboard.

  2. Paste a listing into Import My Services

Copy your public 99designs listing or profile and paste it into the tool; if 99designs is not in the picker, choose Other Platforms. It rebuilds the title, description, every package with its price, delivery and revisions, the FAQs and the requirements. About two minutes per Zinn, and every Zinner gets 10 free imports.

  3. Bring your reviews, then preview and confirm

Up to 10 reviews come across per Zinn, word for word, with the reviewer’s name, star rating and date — badged as imported and checked against the source URL you paste in. Images are generated free, or upload your own. You edit the full preview before anything is submitted.

  4. Set up your store, payments and the other two channels

The Store Setup and Payment Setup wizards take a few minutes each; connect your own Stripe or PayPal to be paid at checkout. Then publish your directory profile and send free proposals on Projects.

What to expect, honestly. A star rating and a seller level belong to the platform that issued them; no marketplace can move those across. Imported reviews travel and are shown as imported, but your Zinn Hub rating itself starts again and builds from confirmed purchases here — reviews on Zinn Hub require one. Expect to run both accounts side by side for a while: nothing here asks you to close anything.

Switching from 99designs — your questions answered

No. Nothing on Zinn Hub asks for exclusivity. Move your best-selling listings across first, run both for a while, and let the numbers decide the rest.
No. Zinn Hub has no contest format. A buyer picks a package on your Zinn and pays for it at checkout before the work begins, so the brief you work to is already a paid order. If you want inbound enquiries as well, publish a Freelancer Directory profile and send free proposals on Projects.
Zinn Hub charges the seller 0% commission on your first $500, then tiered rates that fall as you sell — as low as 7% on Agency Zinner. The ladder runs on lifetime sales: 20% to $2,500, 15% to $10,000, 13% to $15,000, 10% to $20,000, then 8%. Pro Zinner is $25 a month for a flat 8% and Agency Zinner is $50 a month for a flat 7%. Buyers pay no platform fee at all. The full ladder is on our pricing page.
Yes — with the free Import My Services tool. Copy your public listing or profile, paste it in, and it rebuilds the title, description, packages with their prices, delivery times and revisions, FAQs and requirements as a Zinn you preview and confirm before anything is submitted. If 99designs is not one of the named platforms in the picker, choose Other Platforms. Every Zinner gets 10 free imports, and images are generated free.
Two ways, and you choose. Connect your own Stripe or PayPal and buyers pay you directly at checkout, with no wait for a payout run. Zinners on platform-protected payments are paid from the payout queue after the order completes. Everything is priced, charged and paid in USD.
No. The free Zinner membership uses the standard tiered ladder, so you can start selling without paying anything up front. Two optional paid memberships exist if you would rather have a flat rate: Pro Zinner at $25 a month for a flat 8%, and Agency Zinner at $50 a month for a flat 7%.
Yes. Buyers can pay with cards, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, bank transfer, or 200+ cryptocurrencies including Bitcoin, Ethereum and USDT. Prices are always set and charged in USD, and buyers can view an approximate equivalent in any of 59 display currencies.
A star rating and a seller level belong to the platform that issued them, and no marketplace can move those across. The import tool does carry up to 10 of your reviews per Zinn, word for word, with the reviewer’s name, star rating and date, badged as imported and checked against the source URL you paste in. Your Zinn Hub rating itself starts again, because reviews here require a confirmed purchase — across the marketplace that produces a 4.9 average from 39,000+ verified-purchase reviews.
A buyer can choose a Platform Protected Zinner, where the payment is held by Zinn Hub for the whole order until it completes. Refunds are credited to the buyer’s Zinn Wallet in full, in USD — there is no refund to card. Zinners are verified with government-issued photo ID and evidence of their skills and past work, and buyers can filter the directory by category, skill, rating, Zinner type, payment mode and payment methods.
