How leaderboard qualification works on the Freelancer Track
The bonuses above all credit to your earnings ledger as soon as their individual triggers fire — so you earn the money along the way regardless of what else happens with that referral. But for the monthly leaderboard ranking (and the prize tiers attached to it), a referral only counts once the freelancer has completed all five steps:
1. Profile published within window · 2. Zinn published within window · 3. Verified within 30 days · 4. Currently in the Zinn Hub Telegram community · 5. First sale completed
Until all five are true, the earnings from that referral are still yours and still pay out — they just don’t move your leaderboard standing yet. The moment the last gate flips (usually the first sale), the referral starts counting toward your leaderboard for that month. This is by design — the leaderboard rewards depth of real, sustained activity, not drive-by signups.
What unlocks each reward
- $2.50 Publish + Profile Bonus: requires the freelancer to publish a Zinn AND have a complete, approved freelancer profile — both events within the publish window from signup. Just publishing a Zinn does not trigger it. Just completing a profile does not trigger it. Both required. Their signup must also be verified within the verification window.
- $5.00 First Order Bonus: only fires after the publish + profile gate has already qualified. When their first real order completes, the $5 is credited.
- $15.00 $500 Sales Milestone: fires when the freelancer’s cumulative completed sales cross $500. This is the “they’re a real freelancer” signal — they’ve traded enough to prove they’re here for the long haul.
- 10% Per-Order Commission: ongoing for 12 months from their first sale. Every order they complete during that window earns you 10%. No cap.
Critical: 30-Day Verification Window
Every referred freelancer must verify their account within 30 days of signup. Verification is a hard requirement — without it, no bonus or commission from that referral can ever pay out, regardless of what they do on the platform.
If they don’t verify within 30 days, the referral voids permanently. No bonuses, no future commissions, no recovery — even any held earnings from them are reversed. Your dashboard tracks the verification countdown per referral and gives you one-click email nudges. Don’t leave unverified referrals to drift.
When you actually get paid
Earnings are credited as held, release automatically after 30 days, and pay out the following month — no manual withdrawal needed.

Even a more modest ambassador doing 3–5 quality referrals per month with light support realistically reaches $1,500–$3,000/month recurring by month 12. The 12-month windows mean every active month compounds on the last. This is why we approve serious people who can sustain it.

A Two-Way Commitment
Approval gives you significant uncapped earning potential. In return we expect professional behaviour, real support of the people you refer, and proper representation of Zinn Hub. The standards below are the conditions every ambassador agrees to under the Ambassador Terms.
Approval isn’t permanent. Ambassadors who consistently fail to convert real referrals or who miss compliance checks may be flagged with cohort warnings, paused, or removed. Quality is monitored on an ongoing basis — staying in the programme means staying productive.
- Send clean, real buyers — people who actually need freelance services and have budget. Not bargain-hunters, not fake signups, not bot traffic.
- Target your real audience — your newsletter readers, your community members, your clients, your network. Promote where trust exists.
- Promote specific things that solve real problems — point to specific Zinns, freelancer profiles, or categories that match what your audience genuinely needs. High-intent referrals convert.
- Use your own link for your own purchases too — drive sales to anything on the site through your link and earn 10% back on what you buy from other vendors.
- Honest promotion only — don’t overpromise. Misleading promotion leads to refunds (which void your commission) and reputation damage on both sides.
- No incentivised purchases — don’t pay people to click your link and buy. Fraud detection catches it, earnings clawed back.
- Complete your monthly ambassador self-promo check — once a month, upload evidence (screenshot + public URL per channel) that you’re promoting Zinn Hub on your own socials. Required for every ambassador on every track — Buyer Track only does this monthly check (no per-referral check).
- Long-game thinking — one quality buyer = $200/year+ to you. Depth beats volume every single time. Build relationships, not click counts.
- Recruit actually skilled freelancers — not anyone with a pulse. Bonuses only fire on real activity, so quantity without quality earns you nothing.
- Help them onboard properly — make sure they understand platform guidelines, complete their full profile, publish quality Zinns, price properly, respond to buyers fast.
- Complete your monthly ambassador self-promo check — once a month, upload evidence that you’re promoting Zinn Hub on your own socials AND that you’re promoting your referred freelancers on your channels. Per-channel evidence (screenshot + public URL). Required.
- Complete the 30-day per-referral check — for each active freelancer referral, upload per-channel evidence (screenshot + public URL) that they are promoting Zinn Hub on their own channels. Most submissions auto-approve instantly; about 20% are spot-checked by admin. Required.
- Nudge them to verify their account — they have 30 days from signup or the referral voids permanently. Use the dashboard email tool to remind them.
- Nudge them to add social links — 30-day clock, then earnings pause if missing. Templates already in your dashboard.

- Promote their profiles on your own channels — this is the force multiplier. Drives their first sales, unlocks your bonuses, starts the 12-month commission clock.

What Affects Your Earnings
We give you the tools and visibility to manage everything. Here’s exactly what can pause earnings (temporary, fixable) and what can claw them back (permanent reversal) — so there are no surprises.
⏸ Pauses — Temporary, Fixable
Earnings from a specific referral hold until the issue is resolved. Auto-restore when fixed.
- Monthly ambassador check overdue — your monthly self-promo check is overdue. Pauses earnings ambassador-wide until you submit. Applies to all ambassadors on every track.
- Per-referral self-promo check overdue — your 30-day check on a freelancer referral is overdue. Pauses earnings on that referral. Submit a passing check to restore. Freelancer Track only.
- Referral hasn’t verified yet — they have 30 days from signup to verify. Send nudges via the dashboard email tool. After 30 days the referral voids permanently (see Clawbacks).
- Referral’s social links missing — they haven’t added social links within 30 days. Dashboard email template available.
- Referral not in Telegram — they haven’t joined the community within 30 days. One-click nudge.
- Referral’s store paused — they’ve been paused by the platform (inactivity, spam complaint, etc). Auto-restore when reactivated.
- Email health issues — bouncing or invalid email on either side. Update details to restore.
- QA review pending — that referral is under quality review. Holds until review completes.
↩ Clawbacks — Permanent Reversal
Earnings reversed and removed from your balance. Cannot be restored.
- Buyer refunded the order — full refund voids the commission, partial refund reduces proportionally. Happens during the 30-day hold.
- Referred freelancer fails QA — all earnings from that freelancer reversed.
- Referred freelancer banned or removed — all earnings from them clawed back.
- Referred user never verified within 30 days — referral voids permanently. Any held bonuses reversed, no future commissions.
- Profile unpublished after bonus credited — bonus clawed back, offset against future earnings.
- Self-referrals or fraud detected — account termination and forfeit of all earnings across the board.
- Misleading promotion that triggers refunds at scale — pattern of clawbacks plus possible account review.
Both self-promo checks — the monthly ambassador check and (Freelancer Track) the 30-day per-referral check — are non-optional. If you miss either:
Day 30 overdue → earnings pause. (Per-referral check pauses just that referral. Monthly check pauses ambassador-wide.) Submit a passing check to restore.
Day 30 + 14 overdue → your ambassador account is auto-suspended. You’re removed from both leaderboards. All earnings pause until you complete the overdue checks and we reinstate you.
The system gives you due-soon reminders well in advance. Most submissions auto-approve instantly — don’t let them slip.
