We automatically collect certain data when you access or use our platform:

  4. Communicate important updates, order notifications, and announcements
  5. Detect fraud, enforce our Terms of Service, and ensure platform security
  6. Improve the performance, reliability, and user experience of Zinn Hub
  7. Conduct quality assurance reviews of service listings (see Section 5)
  8. Track referral activity for the Zinn Ambassador Programme
  9. Send marketing and promotional emails (only with your consent)
  10. Comply with legal and regulatory requirements

4. Who We Share Your Data With

We never sell your personal data. However, we may share your information with the following categories of third parties, solely for the purposes described in this policy:

4.1 Other Users

Certain information is visible to other platform users where applicable, including your public profile, display name, service listings, reviews, portfolio items, and project history. Messages exchanged through the platform are visible to the relevant parties in that conversation.

4.2 Service Providers

We work with trusted third-party service providers who process data on our behalf under strict data processing agreements. These include but are not limited to:

5. AI-Powered Quality Assurance

To maintain a high-quality marketplace, Zinn Hub uses AI-powered tools to assist with quality assurance of service listings published by freelancers (Zinners). This process works as follows:

  1. What is processed: Listing content including titles, descriptions, pricing, package details, categories, tags, FAQs, and portfolio/sample information. No personal identity data, payment details, or private messages are sent for AI analysis.
  2. How it is used: The AI evaluates listing quality against marketplace standards and provides scores, improvement suggestions, and actionable feedback to help freelancers improve their service visibility and buyer appeal.
  3. Who provides the AI: AI quality analysis is powered by Anthropic's Claude, a third-party AI service. Listing content is transmitted securely to Anthropic's API for processing. Anthropic's data handling is governed by their own privacy and data policies.
  4. Data retention: AI-generated scores and feedback are stored as part of the listing metadata on Zinn Hub. The listing content sent to the AI is not permanently stored by the AI provider after processing.

6. Payment Data

Zinn Hub does not directly store your full credit card numbers, bank account details, or cryptocurrency wallet addresses. All payment processing is handled by our third-party payment providers (Stripe, PayPal, NOWPayments). These providers process your payment data in accordance with their own privacy policies and applicable payment industry standards (including PCI-DSS where applicable).

We may store partial payment identifiers (e.g. last four digits of a card, PayPal email address, or cryptocurrency network type) for transaction reference and customer support purposes.

7. Data Retention

We retain your data only as long as necessary for the purposes stated in this policy:

Zinn Hub uses cookies and similar tracking technologies for the following purposes:

8.1 Essential Cookies

Required for core functionality: keeping you logged in, remembering your session, processing transactions, and maintaining security. These cannot be disabled without affecting platform functionality.

8.2 Analytics Cookies

Used to understand how visitors interact with Zinn Hub, analyse traffic patterns, and identify areas for improvement. We use Google Analytics for this purpose.

8.3 Advertising & Remarketing Cookies

Used to deliver relevant advertisements and measure advertising campaign performance. We use Google Ads conversion tracking and remarketing pixels.

8.4 Ambassador Referral Tracking

If you arrive at Zinn Hub via an Ambassador referral link, a tracking cookie with a 30-day duration is set to attribute your registration or purchase to the referring Ambassador. This cookie contains a referral identifier only and does not store personal information.

8.5 Live Chat

Our live chat service (Tawk.to) may set cookies to maintain your chat session and provide continuity across pages.

8.6 Managing Cookies

You can control and manage cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to refuse or delete cookies. Please note that disabling certain cookies may limit your ability to use some features of the platform.

9. Your Rights & Choices

Under UK GDPR, you have the following rights in relation to your personal data:

  • Secure API communications with all third-party service providers

While we take all reasonable steps to protect your data, no system is completely secure. We encourage you to use strong, unique passwords and protect your login credentials.

11. International Data Transfers

Zinn Hub is based in the United Kingdom but serves users globally. Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside the UK, including by our third-party service providers who operate internationally.

Where your data is transferred outside the UK, we ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place, such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs), adequacy decisions, or other lawful transfer mechanisms in accordance with UK GDPR.

12. Children's Privacy

Zinn Hub is not intended for use by children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16 years of age.
