Switch from Codeable (codeable.io) to Zinn Hub

On Codeable (codeable.io), the client's contract is with Codeable and Codeable appoints the expert, with a 17.5% service fee added to the expert's estimate. On Zinn Hub the buyer chooses the Zinner and contracts with them, pays no platform fee, and the Zinner keeps 100% of their first $500.

Three ways to earn from one Zinner account

On Codeable (codeable.io) an expert estimates against briefs the platform routes to them. On Zinn Hub you own the relationship, and you have three separate ways to start one.

Zinns Sell without an estimate

Publish the WordPress work you already do at a fixed price — a theme build, a plugin fix, a checkout customisation, a speed pass — and buyers purchase with no estimating round. See WordPress and Website Maintenance.

One account a single Zinner registration, set up once
Three ways to earn Zinns, Projects and the Freelancer Directory

One profile. Three routes to the same buyer.

WordPress developers usually start with two or three fixed-price Zinns for the jobs they repeat, add a directory profile so returning clients can find them by name, and answer briefs when there is capacity. Each channel reaches a different buyer and none depends on the others.

Six things WordPress developers ask us for

These are the reasons developers give when they open a second account.

You want the client to choose you

On Zinn Hub the buyer picks the Zinner and contracts with them. Codeable’s terms reserve appointing the expert to Codeable, and state there is no contractual relationship between client and expert.

You want to set your own price

You publish the price. Codeable's terms describe averaging two or more expert estimates into one fixed price for the client, irrespective of the choice of expert. On Zinn Hub what you list is what is charged.

You want nothing added to your client's bill

There is no buyer platform fee on Zinn Hub. Codeable publishes a 17.5% service fee added to the expert's estimate and paid by the client, described in its contract as a non-refundable profit margin.

You want to sell beyond WordPress

Codeable is WordPress-only by design. Zinn Hub carries the whole catalogue, so one account can list a WordPress build, a mobile app and a data scraping job side by side.

You want small jobs to be worth taking

Micro Zinns are fixed-price services at $5, $10, $15 or $20 — the right size for a plugin conflict or a broken checkout field. See WordPress, WooCommerce or Website Bug Fixes.

You want clients who do not work in English

Codeable’s terms require all platform content to be in English. Zinn Hub renders in 45 site languages, with 12 more for messaging and 59 display currencies.

What Codeable (codeable.io) publishes in its own terms

Quoted from Codeable’s General Terms and Conditions, pricing page and help centre — not its marketing headlines.

Who you contract with — clauses 1.1, 1.3 and 4.3
Codeable’s terms state that it “offers IT consultancy services… through qualified, independent IT consultants engaged by Codeable”, that “there will be no contractual relationship between the Client and any Experts”, and that appointing the specific expert is “Codeable’s sole and absolute right”. On that basis this page describes Codeable as a vetted WordPress project-delivery platform, not a marketplace.
The 17.5% service fee — pricing page, help centre and clause 4.4.2
The pricing page shows “17.5% FIXED”, the help centre states that “Codeable adds a 17.5% service fee on top of the expert’s estimate”, and clause 4.4.2 records it as “17.5% of the estimate… added to the estimate”. It is paid by the client, on top of the estimate, and Codeable’s own word for it is a profit margin, not a commission.
Refunds — clause 4.12.1
The profit margin is stated to be non-refundable, irrespective of whether the statement of work is met or terminated. Recorded here as a published term.
Developer-side fee
Not published
Codeable does not publish, on its pricing page, its help centre or in its client terms, what if anything it deducts on the expert's side. No developer-side figure appears on this page, and this page does not claim developers pay nothing — neither statement is verifiable from a first-party source.
How the price is set — clause 4.2.3
Where two or more experts submit an estimate, Codeable calculates an average, and that average plus the profit margin becomes the fixed price “irrespective of the choice of Expert”. Its help centre explains that it uses estimation rather than bidding.
Other published terms
Recommended rates of USD 80 to 120 per hour; payment escrowed in advance and released when the client marks the project complete; clause 4.10 commits Codeable to fix bugs found within 28 calendar days of completion; clause 3.1.3 requires all platform content to be in English; pricing in USD; Danish law and the Copenhagen court under clause 8.7.1.

How to move your WordPress work across, in four steps

Nothing has to be closed to try this.

  1. Register as a Zinner

Free, with every feature available from the start. Three wizards handle setup: Store Setup, Payment Setup and Zinn Creation.

  2. Turn your estimates into listings

Productise the jobs you estimate over and over: a plugin conflict fix, a checkout customisation, a Core Web Vitals pass. Fixed scope, fixed price, no estimating round.

  3. Import the rest

Paste an existing listing or profile into Import My Services and it comes back as ready-to-review Zinns with images, free and self-serve.

  4. Publish a profile, then answer briefs

Add a directory profile so returning clients can find you by name, then start replying to briefs in Projects.

What moves with you, and what does not

The realistic picture, so week one holds no surprises.

Your skills and your case studies: yes
Anything you wrote is yours. Import My Services turns it into draft Zinns, images included, and you confirm each one first.
Your reviews and your rating: no
Reviews stay with the account that earned them. Zinn Hub requires a confirmed purchase before a review can be left, which is why an imported rating would carry no weight. Import My Services can carry up to ten across word for word as displayed history.
Your clients: read the contract you are under first
Codeable’s terms include an anti-circumvention clause covering a client hiring an expert away from the platform, with a stated compensation figure. Read it, and any equivalent elsewhere, before you move a live engagement.
Your first weeks: a rebuild, not a transfer
Publish two or three well-scoped Zinns, add a directory profile, and answer briefs while the first sales land. Your first $500 carries 0% commission.

45 languages, 59 currencies

Readable in 45 site languages, with 12 more for messaging and an approximate local equivalent on every USD price.

Verified sellers, verified reviews

Zinners are ID- and skill-verified, and a review can only be left after a confirmed purchase.

Switching from Codeable: your questions answered

No. Zinn Hub asks for no exclusivity, so you can run both and judge the results yourself. Codeable's own terms include an anti-circumvention clause about hiring an expert away from the platform, so read your own agreement before moving a live engagement.
The WordPress project-delivery platform at codeable.io, operated by Codeable ApS in Denmark. A different and unrelated company trades as Codeable at gocodeable.com, and nothing on this page refers to it.
0% commission on your first $500, then tiered rates that fall as you sell. The published ladder runs 0% to $500, 20% to $2,500, 15% to $10,000, 13% to $15,000, 10% to $20,000 and 8% above that, or a flat 8% on Pro Zinner and a flat 7% on Agency Zinner.
Not on Zinn Hub. Buyers pay no platform fee, so the price on the listing is the price charged. Codeable publishes a 17.5% service fee added to the expert's estimate and paid by the client, which its terms describe as a non-refundable profit margin.
Codeable does not publish that anywhere we could find first-party, so this page states no developer-side figure, and equally does not claim that developers pay nothing. Neither statement is verifiable from Codeable's pricing page, help centre or client terms.
On Zinn Hub, yes. Buyers browse, compare and buy from the Zinner they choose, and the order is with that Zinner. Codeable's terms state that a client may request a preferred expert but that appointing the expert is Codeable's sole and absolute right, and that where two or more estimates are given the price is an average applied irrespective of which expert is chosen.
No. Codeable is WordPress-only by design; Zinn Hub carries the whole catalogue, so the same account can list WordPress builds alongside app development, data work, design or writing. Small WordPress jobs work well too, since Micro Zinns are fixed-price services at $5, $10, $15 or $20.
No. Zinn Hub is an independent marketplace and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Codeable. Codeable is named here only to describe what its own published terms and pricing say.
