Three Ways to Sell UI/UX Design Services

Zinn Hub gives you three — use one, two, or all three. Each one draws on the same UI/UX design skills, so a single body of work feeds three income streams.

ZinnsGig-style

List fixed-price UI/UX packages — a landing-page redesign, a mobile app flow, a component library, a usability review. Buyers purchase at checkout, and if you have connected your own Stripe or PayPal account they pay you directly, with no payout run to wait for.

Projects + Freelancer ProfileBid & direct hire

Bid on buyer-posted design projects with free proposals. Publish a Freelancer Directory profile so buyers can hire you directly — useful for longer product-design engagements that do not fit a fixed package.

Micro Zinns$5–$20 tasters

Offer small fixed-price design tasks at $5, $10, $15 or $20 — a single screen, an icon set, a heuristic review of one page. A low-risk way for a new buyer to try you, and a fast way to build a review history.

One skill set the UI/UX design work you already do
On Zinn Hub fixed-price Zinns, project bids & $5–$20 tasters

Same UI/UX design skills. Three earning paths.

UI/UX Design Services You Can Sell & Earn From

Every specialism below can be sold as a Zinn, offered as a Micro Zinn, bid on through Projects, or showcased on your Freelancer Directory profile.

Why Sell UI/UX Design Services on Zinn Hub?

Built for product and interface designers who want more than one route to a paying client.

Three Ways to Sell

Not just gigs. List UI/UX design Zinns, bid on Projects with free proposals, get hired from the Freelancer Directory, and offer Micro Zinns from $5. Three income streams, one account.

0% on Your First $500

0% commission on your first $500, then tiered rates that fall as you sell — as low as 7% on Agency Zinner. The full ladder, and both membership tiers, are published on the pricing page.

Get Paid at Checkout

Connect your own Stripe or PayPal account and buyers pay you directly at checkout, with no payout run to wait for. Prefer the safety net? Sell as a Platform Protected Zinner and Zinn Hub holds the payment until the order completes.

Buyers Pay No Platform Fee

Buyers pay no platform fee — the price they see is the price they pay. Nothing is added at checkout, so the number in your listing is the whole conversation.

Micro Zinns From $5

Micro Zinns are fixed-price services at $5, $10, $15 or $20. Use them as a taster that turns a browsing buyer into a paying one — browse $5 Micro Zinns to see how other Zinners scope them.

Your Brand, Your Storefront

Every Zinner gets a branded storefront — logo, banner, bio, portfolio and credentials — not a row in a list. Browse the Zinner directory to see how other sellers present their work.

45 Languages, 59 Currencies

Zinn Hub is available in 45 site languages, and there are 12 further languages you can be messaged in. Prices are stored and charged in USD, with an approximate equivalent shown in any of 59 display currencies.

Refunds Go to the Zinn Wallet

If an order is refunded, the money is credited to the buyer’s Zinn Wallet in full, in USD. There is no refund-to-card flow, and refunds are never taken in a currency other than the one the order was charged in.

Free Setup Help & Migration

Three guided wizards — Store Setup, Payment Setup and Zinn Creation — build your storefront, connect how you get paid and publish your first listing in about 15 minutes. Already selling elsewhere? The free Import My Services tool rebuilds an existing listing, or a whole profile, into ready-to-review Zinns.

Resources, Guides & Competitions

Read the freelancer resources, see what buyers are told in the buyer guides, enter the monthly competitions, or search the help centre.

Built into every Zinner account
Buyer Insights — know your buyers before you sell

Every Zinner gets Buyer Insights — a profile on the buyer behind an order, covering trust score, order history, spending patterns, rejection behaviour, refund rate and the requirements they submitted on past orders.

For design work, where scope creep and endless revision rounds do the damage, that history is worth reading before you accept. You can also leave yourself private notes on a buyer for next time.

How to Start Selling UI/UX Design Services

Three guided wizards get you selling in about 15 minutes. No upfront cost and no approval queue.

Store Setup Wizard

Sign up free on the Zinner registration page. The Store Setup Wizard builds your branded storefront — logo, banner, bio, portfolio and credentials — so buyers can see your UI/UX design work before they ever message you.

Payment Setup Wizard

Connect your own Stripe or PayPal account and buyers pay you directly at checkout, with no payout run to wait for. Prefer platform-protected payments instead? Zinn Hub holds the payment until the order completes and pays you from the payout queue.

Zinn Creation Wizard

Build your first listing with packages, pricing and delivery times — or start with a Micro Zinn from $5. Then switch on Projects bidding and publish your Freelancer Directory profile.

What UI/UX Design Work Typically Pays

Freelance UI/UX work is usually priced per project rather than per hour. These are indicative ranges from the wider freelance market, to help you set a starting price.

$300 – $1,200
Per project — Standard
Landing-page designs, single-flow redesigns, small component sets
$1,200 – $5,000
Per project — Advanced
Full app or site UX, research through to a tested prototype
$5,000+
Per project — Enterprise
Multi-product design systems and long-running product design work

These are typical market ranges for freelance UI/UX work, not Zinn Hub earnings and not a guarantee. What you can charge varies by scope, complexity and experience — you set your own prices, and every price on Zinn Hub is in USD. See the pricing page for how commission works.

Who Sells UI/UX Design on Zinn Hub

There is no invitation list and no waiting room. Zinners are verified with government-issued photo ID and evidence of their skills and past work — nothing about where you live.

Solo designers

Product and interface designers going independent, or running freelance work alongside a job. Start with a Micro Zinn and build up.

Design studios & small agencies

Small teams that want a second acquisition channel. One branded storefront, three ways for buyers to reach you.

Specialists and career changers

Researchers, UX writers and front-end designers with a narrow specialism can list it directly — see the UX Research and Figma skill pages.

Frequently Asked Questions

Nothing upfront. Commission is 0% on your first $500, then tiered rates that fall as you sell — as low as 7% on Agency Zinner. The published ladder is: 0% up to $500 in lifetime sales; 20% to $2,500; 15% to $10,000; 13% to $15,000; 10% to $20,000; and 8% above $20,000. Two paid memberships replace the ladder with a flat rate — Pro Zinner at $25 a month is a flat 8%, and Agency Zinner at $50 a month is a flat 7%. Full detail is on the pricing page.

It depends which payment mode you choose in the Payment Setup Wizard. Zinners who connect their own Stripe or PayPal account are paid directly at checkout — the buyer pays your merchant account and there is no payout queue. Zinners on platform-protected payments are paid from the Zinn Hub payout run once the order completes; that run goes out weekly, on a Friday.

A Zinn is your own fixed-price listing that buyers purchase at checkout. A Project is posted by a buyer, and you submit a free proposal for it. A Micro Zinn is a small fixed-price task at $5, $10, $15 or $20. You can run all three from one account, and a Freelancer Directory profile lets buyers hire you directly on top.

Yes. Zinners are verified with government-issued photo ID and evidence of their skills and past work. Zinn Hub does not verify your country of residence, and there is no country or location filter in search — buyers find you by category, skill and the work in your portfolio.

Yes, and it is free. Paste an existing listing, or your whole public profile, into the Import My Services tool in your Zinner dashboard and it rebuilds it as ready-to-review Zinns — title, description, packages, FAQs and up to 10 of your reviews word for word. You preview and confirm before anything is submitted.

Yes. Package the deliverable rather than the hours: state exactly what the buyer receives — the number of screens, whether the Figma file is editable, whether components are built with variants and auto-layout, and how many revision rounds are included. Deliverable-led packages are much easier to price and far less prone to scope creep than open-ended design retainers.

Zinn Hub is available in 45 site languages, and there are 12 further languages you can be messaged in — 57 in total for communication. All prices are stored and charged in USD; buyers can see an approximate equivalent in any of 59 display currencies. Buyers can pay with cards, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, bank transfer or 200+ cryptocurrencies.

Refunds are credited to the buyer’s Zinn Wallet in full, in USD — there is no refund-to-card flow. If you sell in platform-protected mode, Zinn Hub holds the payment until the order completes, so a dispute is settled before the money moves. Clear package scope and a written brief are still your best protection.
