How Payments Work on Zinn Hub

Zinn Hub offers two payment modes that you can use individually or together.
Direct Payments (Your Own Accounts)— When you connect your own Stripe and/or PayPal accounts, buyer payments go instantly and directly into your account at the point of sale minus platform commission. There is no waiting period, no funds held by Zinn Hub, and no need to request a withdrawal. This is a major advantage over platforms like Fiverr and Upwork where sellers often wait days or weeks to access their earnings.
Platform Payments (Zinn Hub Managed)— If you have not connected your own Stripe or PayPal, payments are still processed through Zinn Hub's platform payment accounts so buyers always see full payment options at checkout. Your earnings are then paid out automatically every Friday to your chosen payout method. Cryptocurrency orders are always processed as platform payments regardless of whether you have your own accounts connected.
Setting Up Your Payment Accounts
Go to your Zinner Dashboard and click Payment Settings under the Wizards heading. From here you can connect your Stripe account, your PayPal account, or both.
Connecting Stripe
Stripe is our recommended payment provider for instant card payments.
- Click Payment Settings under the Wizards heading in your Zinner Dashboard
- Find the Stripe section
- Click Connect with Stripe
- You will be redirected to Stripe to complete their onboarding
- Enter your personal or business information
- Verify your identity
- Add your bank account
- Once complete, you are connected
Stripe performs KYC (Know Your Customer) identity verification as part of the onboarding process, which helps verify your identity on the platform.

- Enables credit and debit card payments on your Zinns (Visa, Mastercard, Amex)
Connecting PayPal
- Click Payment Settings under the Wizards heading in your Zinner Dashboard
- Find the PayPal section
- Request the email for connection
- Follow the setup instructions in the email
- Once done, click the connected button
Make sure you use the email associated with your PayPal account and that your PayPal account is verified. Once connected, you can also choose to enable card payments, Apple Pay, and Google Pay through PayPal, giving your buyers even more ways to pay.

Connecting Both
You can connect both Stripe and PayPal at the same time. This gives your buyers the widest range of payment options at checkout and means you receive instant payments regardless of how they choose to pay. We strongly recommend connecting at least one, and ideally both.
What If I Don't Connect Stripe or PayPal?
Your Zinns will still accept card payments, PayPal, and cryptocurrency at checkout — buyers always see full payment options regardless. The difference is how you get paid. Without your own Stripe or PayPal connected, payments are processed through Zinn Hub's platform payment accounts and your earnings are paid out weekly every Friday to your chosen payout method. Connecting your own accounts is still strongly recommended as it enables instant payments and provides identity verification through KYC.
Platform Payout Methods
For platform-managed payments (including all cryptocurrency orders), your earnings are paid out automatically every Friday. You can choose from six payout methods:
- PayPal— Paid to your PayPal email address
- Cryptocurrency (USDT or USDC)— Paid to your crypto wallet
- UK Bank Transfer— Direct to your UK bank account
- SEPA Bank Transfer (Europe)— For European bank accounts
- US Bank Wire— Direct to your US bank account
- Zinn Wallet— Instant credit to your Zinn Wallet, spendable on Zinn Hub
Configure your preferred payout method in Payment Settings under the Wizards heading in your Zinner Dashboard.
Cryptocurrency on Every Listing
Every Zinn on the platform accepts cryptocurrency (USDT and USDC via NOWPayments) by default. This is always available regardless of which payment accounts you have connected. Cryptocurrency orders are processed as platform payments with weekly Friday payouts.

Tracking Your Earnings
To view and track your earnings, order history, and payout status, click the My Payouts menu item in your Zinner Dashboard. You can see a breakdown of direct payments received instantly and platform payments scheduled for the next Friday payout.
Payout Fees
For instant payments through your own Stripe or PayPal, there is no payout fee from Zinn Hub. Your payment processor (Stripe or PayPal) charges their own processing fees which are deducted by them directly — these are separate from Zinn Hub's platform commission.
For platform payouts on Fridays, there is no Zinn Hub payout fee. Any fees charged by the payout provider (such as blockchain network fees for crypto) are deducted from the payout as a pass-through cost.
Changing Your Payout Method
To update or change your payment accounts or payout preferences:
- Go to Payment Settings under the Wizards heading in your Zinner Dashboard
- Update the relevant section
- Save your changes
Troubleshooting
Stripe connection issues— Make sure all required information is provided and identity verification is complete. Check that Stripe is available in your country. If you are stuck partway through Stripe onboarding, try clicking Connect with Stripe again to resume.
PayPal issues— Verify the email address is correct and matches your PayPal account. Make sure your PayPal account is active with no holds or limitations.
Not receiving Friday payouts— Check that you have configured a payout method in Payment Settings. Check the My Payouts menu item for payout status and history.
Buyers say they can't pay— Card and PayPal payments are available on all listings whether you have connected your own accounts or not. If a buyer reports an issue, contact support.

One thing that can pause a payout
UK law requires Zinn Hub to collect a few tax details from every seller who earns, and to report them to HMRC once a year. We ask you when you first earn, and remind you at 7, 14 and 21 days.
If it is still not complete after 21 days, payouts are paused until it is. Nothing is taken and nothing is forfeited — your earnings stay exactly where they are, and the pause lifts by itself the moment you finish the form.
