The IDML format's compatibility with CAT tools allows for accurate text extraction and translation. After translation, DTP professionals can clean it very easily.
So, you can send me almost any type of file (PDF, AI, PSD, DOCX, PPTX, TIF, JPG, PNG, etc.) and receive as a result an InDesign Package (including IDML):
- All texts will be editable.
- All Paragraph and Character styles can be created, if needed.
- If files need to be print-ready, I will add bleeds, crop marks, run a preflight to fix all issues.
- Source files will be provided.
