Keep in mind that a 1-minute song can be harder to transcribe/arrange than a 5-minute one. The key factor is not the duration but the number of notes. Because of this, we use the Audio-length/Number-of-seconds input as a note counter, not a time counter. In the Frequently Asked Questions section, you'll find a link with real examples to help you estimate how many notes to purchase. As you advance through this Zinn, you'll be able to specify your preferences.
#2 We won't charge you if we handle it by copying and pasting:
To count the number of notes, we simply export the MIDI from MuseScore (including chord notation) and use software to count the total notes. If at least four measures of an instrument or the chord notation repeat exactly, those repetitions are not counted again.

We simply count the notes in the MIDI exported from Musescore. It means that the chord notation is counted based on the notes in each chord. For example, if your song has four repeating chords with three notes each, that would total twelve notes. (Remember, we won’t charge for repeated sections!)
