I will Proofread Up to 500 Words of English or French Text

A single misplaced comma, an awkward sentence, or a recurring grammar slip can quietly undermine an otherwise strong piece of writing. Whether you are submitting a cover letter, publishing a blog post, preparing a professional email, or finalising any short document, having a second pair of expert eyes ensures your words land exactly as intended — in the right language, with the right tone.

This micro covers proofreading and correction of any English or French text up to 500 words. You will receive two files: a tracked-changes version showing every edit made, and a clean final copy ready to use. Alongside these, a short written note highlights the main recurring errors found, so you can learn from the corrections rather than simply receiving them. One round of revisions is included, giving you the opportunity to flag anything you would like reconsidered before the work is closed.

To get started, simply share your text — pasted directly or uploaded as a document — and let me know whether it is in English or French. If you have a particular audience or tone in mind (formal, conversational, academic, and so on), a quick note about that helps shape the corrections to suit your context, though it is entirely optional. Files are delivered as a Word document or via Google Docs, whichever you prefer. With nine years of English teaching experience in French public schools and native-level fluency in French, corrections are made with a genuine understanding of how both languages work and where their speakers most commonly trip up.

This micro is a great way to get a feel for the quality of the work on a short piece. For longer documents, ongoing proofreading support, or more substantial editing projects, do get in touch to discuss what a fuller arrangement might look like.
