I fix bugs in web apps and sites: broken forms and buttons, broken login, layout that fell apart, console errors, a project that stopped building after an update. Stack: JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js on the server, React and Next.js on the front end, plus plain HTML/CSS/JS and WordPress, including theme and plugin PHP. Not Shopify. I also work with code that was written in a hurry or generated with AI tools.

What You'll Receive
Full Description
If your original developer has moved on, or you just need the broken part working again without paying for a rebuild, start here. I've been in IT for 10+ years. I change only what the fix needs, so the rest of your code stays as it was.
Starter fixes one reproducible problem and tells you the cause. Standard takes up to 3 and adds a written summary of what was wrong and what changed. Advanced goes to 5, keeps the summary, and lists the other problems I noticed while I was inside the project. If a problem doesn't reproduce from your steps, or the fix turns out bigger than the tier, I say so before starting rather than run over.
Stack: JavaScript and TypeScript, React and Next.js on the front end, Node.js on the server, plain HTML/CSS/JS, and WordPress. Not Shopify. Older projects are fine: class-component React, the Next.js Pages Router, older Node versions. If a fix needs a version upgrade, I say so before touching it. On WordPress I fix theme and plugin conflicts, errors in theme or plugin PHP, and sites that broke after an update. If the cause sits in WordPress core or someone else's plugin, I don't patch it there: I work around it in your theme or a small custom plugin, and if that isn't possible, I tell you before I start.
What I need from you: repository access or a project archive, and the steps to reproduce the problem: what you click, what you expect, what happens instead. A staging URL helps; for a live-site fix, add deploy access too. Any access you give me is used only for this fix, and I'm fine signing an NDA.
The fix is yours: however it's delivered, you get every changed line to review. After delivery, I fix anything that doesn't work as we agreed, free of charge.
Everything runs in writing. On multi-day work you get a written update at the end of each day, and I answer fast. No calls.
Steps for completing your project
1. Reproduce it first - I reproduce the problem from your steps before changing anything. If it does not reproduce, or turns out bigger than the tier, I tell you the same day and we decide before the clock runs.
2. Find the cause - I read the code path behind the symptom and isolate the actual cause, not just the line that throws. You get it in writing: what is wrong and why.
3. Fix and verify - The fix, then your steps again and the project's own tests. Other problems I notice on the way get listed, not silently patched.
4. Deliver the way you chose - A pull request in your repository, a patch file, or the fix applied to your live site. Standard and Advanced add the written summary of what changed.
5. Written handover - A short note per bug: the cause, the change, and how to check it yourself. On multi-day work you had a written update each working day.

Formline: Next.js store with Stripe
A storefront you can click through: 16 posters in 4 collections, filters and search that stay in the URL, a cart, light and dark themes, and a checkout that ends in a demo order or a real Stripe Checkout session in test mode. I built it as a Next.js static export in TypeScript with Tailwind CSS. Card payments go through a Cloudflare Worker that re-prices the cart on the server and verifies Stripe's webhook signature.

Bilingual personal site in Next.js
A one-page personal site in English and Russian, with a services section and links to my demo projects. I designed and built it with Next.js, React and TypeScript as a static export, styled with plain CSS Modules and no UI framework. It has light and dark themes, and a social preview image for each language is generated at build time. GitHub Actions builds and deploys it to Bunny CDN, which adds security headers and redirects www and plain HTTP to the main HTTPS address.

Frequently Asked Questions
I check reproducibility from your steps before I start and tell you the same day. If it can't be reproduced we agree what to do next before any work is billed; I never run out the clock on a fix I can't make.
JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, React, Next.js, plain HTML/CSS/JS, and WordPress, including theme and plugin PHP. Older versions are fine too.
A revision changes the fix already delivered. A different bug is a new item: the add-on, or a new order.
No. Written only, in the project messages. I reply fast.
