It depends by the project. I know that some people want to know the price immediately but for telling the exact price I need details. Please when you text me describe me your idea, tell me if you already have graphics or not, for what platform you want the game and if you have a deadline.
I make games for PC, Android and WebGL. Some people ask me to make games for iOS but I can't because I need a mac which I don't have. I can obviously develop the game and send you the Xcode project but then you'll need to contact a person that has a mac for compiling the game.
I make 2D Platformers, Top-Down games, Endless runner games and I made also a couple of Turn based games. If you have any game idea in mind text me!
