How Commissions Work
When you make a sale, Zinn Hub takes a small commission (service fee) from the transaction. The rest is yours.
Example:
- You sell a service for $100
- Your commission rate is 15%
- Zinn Hub takes $15
- You receive $85
Commission Tiers (Free Membership)
New Zinners start with our tiered system:
Total Lifetime Sales - Commission Rate - You Keep
$0 - $500 - 0% - 100%
$501 - $2,500 - 20% - 80%
$2,501 - $10,000 - 15% - 85%
$10,001 - $15,000 - 13% - 87%
$15,001 - $20,000 - 10% - 90%
$20,001+ - 8% - 92%
How Tiers Work
Your commission rate is based on your
total lifetime sales, not individual orders.
Example progression:
- You start selling → 0% commission until you hit $500
- You reach $500 in total sales → 20% rate kicks in
- You reach $2,500 in total sales → Rate drops to 15%
- And so on...
Every Zinner gets their first $500 in sales
The Free $500
commission-free. You keep 100%.
This means:
- First $500 sale? You keep all $500
- Ten $50 sales? You keep all $500
- No commission until you've made $500+ in total

Calculating Your Earnings
For a Single Order
Formula:Your Earnings = Sale Price - (Sale Price × Commission Rate)
Example (15% commission):
- Sale: $200
- Commission: $200 × 15% = $30
- You earn: $200 - $30 = $170
Checking Your Commission Rate
In your dashboard:
- Go to Reports or Analytics
- Check your total lifetime sales
- Reference the tier chart above
- Or check your membership status
Viewing Commissions
Your dashboard shows:
- Commissions Due— Earnings pending release
- Commissions Paid— Earnings already paid out
- Order Details— Commission breakdown per order
Payment Processing Fees
Note: Payment processors (Stripe, PayPal) may have their own fees for withdrawing to your bank. These are separate from Zinn Hub commissions and are standard for those services.
