Creating your first Zinn (service listing) is a big milestone. This short guide covers what to have ready before you start and what to do after you publish — and points you to the full step-by-step for the wizard itself.
A quick note on our words: Zinners are sellers (freelancers), Zinnectors are buyers, and Zinns are the service listings Zinners offer.
Before you start
Make sure you have:
- ✅ An approved Zinner account — register at zinnhub.com/registration/?tab=seller if you haven't yet (it's instant).
- ✅ Your store profile set up (see “Getting started as a Zinner”).
- ✅ A clear idea of the service to offer.
- ✅ Portfolio images ready to upload.
- ✅ Your pricing decided.
Creating the listing
You build your Zinn in the Zinn creation wizard — open it from your dashboard or at zinnhub.com/dashboard/zinner/create-zinn/. It walks you through everything (title, description, packages, images, portfolio, requirements, FAQs) and finishes with an AI Quality Check that helps polish your listing before it goes live. Your progress saves automatically, so you can take it in stages.
For the full walkthrough of every step, see “How to create a Zinn (service listing).” For your first one, a single one-time package is the simplest way to start — you can always add packages and services later.
After you publish
Once your Zinn is approved and live:
- Check your live listing — view it as a buyer would. Do the images show? Is the pricing right? Read your description through once more.
- Share it — on social media, your portfolio site, and in your email signature.
- Monitor and improve — answer questions promptly (fast replies build trust), add new portfolio images as you complete work, and adjust pricing as your reviews grow. Your Reach & Visibility page shows how often your listings are being seen (see that article).
Need a custom quote?
Not every client needs a standard listing. If someone needs something bespoke, send them a Custom Offer — a personalised quote with a direct checkout link you can share anywhere — from Custom Offers in your dashboard.
