Hi, I'm Ray — a China-based sourcing agent living in Shunde, Foshan, in the heart of the Pearl River Delta manufacturing belt. I help overseas importers, e-commerce sellers and small businesses buy from China with confidence, without flying in themselves.

How I work: I search and screen suppliers on 1688 and Alibaba, then tell you which are real factories and which are trading companies. I verify business licences, operating status and legal records through Chinese corporate registry databases (Qichacha, Tianyancha). I negotiate price, minimum order quantity, lead time and payment terms. I manage samples from the first request through to final approval. Before goods ship, I run pre-shipment inspections using AQL sampling standards and send you a written report with photos. I then coordinate export logistics — FOB and DDP — with freight forwarders.

I take no commission and no kickback from factories. The price I quote is the price I negotiated, never one padded with a hidden margin.

My background is in commercial real-estate marketing and event-material procurement, so I understand both the buyer's brief and what a factory can actually deliver. I own a car and drive to factories across the Pearl River Delta — Foshan, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Dongguan, Zhongshan, Zhuhai — for site visits, sample checks and production coordination. Native Mandarin and Cantonese mean I deal directly with factory owners and get real answers. My English is CET-4 level: fluent reading and writing for reports and correspondence, plus day-to-day spoken English.

Recent work: I am currently running a 50,000-unit custom self-inking stamp programme for a Spanish client — unit price negotiated down from ¥9.5 to ¥8.0 against their $1.00 target, with custom logo printing, bespoke packaging, export customs clearance and DDP shipment to Spain. I have also delivered an interactive 3-metre smoke-bubble tree installation for a shopping-mall seasonal campaign, defining the full technical specification myself, and full-cycle visual-merchandising and promotional sourcing across several commercial complexes. I have worked with Spanish, Indian and Pakistani buyers.
