I work with MP3, MP4, WAV, M4A, MOV, WMV, FLAC, AAC, and most other common formats. If you're unsure about your file format, just message me before ordering and I'll confirm.

Verbatim transcription captures every spoken word exactly as said, including filler words like "um," "uh," false starts, and repetitions. Clean-read transcription removes those elements to produce a smoother, more readable document while keeping the speaker's meaning intact.

Yes. I clearly label each speaker throughout the transcription so the conversation is easy to follow. If you can provide speaker names in advance, I'll use those instead of generic labels.

Timestamps are included in the Standard and Premium packages. I can add them at regular intervals or at each speaker change, depending on your preference.

I'll do my best to capture everything accurately. Any sections that are genuinely inaudible will be marked with [inaudible] and a timestamp so you can reference the original recording and fill in the gaps if needed.

If your recording contains industry-specific jargon or technical terms, I recommend sharing a glossary or reference document with your order. This helps me ensure specialist language is transcribed correctly.

The delivery times listed apply to the audio lengths in each package. For recordings longer than 2 hours, message me with the total length and I'll provide a custom quote and timeline.

Absolutely. I understand that many recordings contain sensitive or confidential content, particularly in legal, medical, and corporate settings. I treat every project with strict confidentiality as standard — your files and transcriptions are never shared with anyone. If you require a formal NDA signed before sharing your recording, I'm happy to do that. Just message me before placing your order and we can get it sorted.

Yes. I have experience transcribing recordings featuring a range of English accents and non-native speakers. If your recording includes particularly strong accents or speakers for whom English is a second language, I'd recommend mentioning that when you place your order so I can allow extra time for careful listening. For any words or phrases I'm unable to catch clearly, I'll flag them with timestamps so you can review them.

I deliver in Microsoft Word (.docx) as standard, but I can also provide your transcription as a PDF, plain text (.txt), or SRT subtitle file if needed. Just let me know your preferred format when you place your order. If you need the same transcription in multiple formats, that's no problem — I'll include them all.
