To use Zinn Hub, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age (or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher)
- Have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts
- Not be prohibited from using the Services under applicable law
- Provide accurate, current, and complete registration information
- Not be located in, resident in, or acting on behalf of any country, territory, entity, or individual subject to economic sanctions imposed by the United Kingdom, the European Union, the United States, or any other applicable jurisdiction
By using our Services, you represent and warrant that you meet all eligibility requirements. We reserve the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, or cancel orders at our sole discretion if we reasonably believe you do not meet these requirements.
4. Platform Role and Relationship
4.1 Zinn Hub as a Platform Provider
Zinn Hub operates as a platform that facilitates connections between Zinners (sellers) and Zinnectors (buyers). Important clarifications:
- All transactions are direct contracts between the Zinner and Zinnector. The Zinner is the merchant of record for all sales conducted through their listings.
- Zinn Hub does not employ, control, or supervise Zinners.
- We do not guarantee the quality, safety, legality, or any aspect of services offered by Zinners.
- Zinn Hub is not a party to the contract of sale between Zinner and Zinnector.
- Connections between buyers and freelancers may occur through multiple mechanisms, including the direct purchase of Zinns, Custom Offers (ZCO), and Projects posted by buyers that invite Zinners to submit Proposals (see Section 10A). Each of these mechanisms ultimately resolves into an Order subject to these Terms.
4.2 Platform Payment Fund Holding
Where payments are processed through Zinn Hub's platform payment accounts (Platform Payments), Zinn Hub acts as a pass-through custodian of funds. This means:
- Funds are collected and held by Zinn Hub. Prior to order completion and acceptance, funds are held on behalf of the buyer. If a refund is required, the refund will be credited to the buyer's Zinn Wallet in accordance with Section 8.20 and Section 10.
- Upon order completion and acceptance, the buyer's claim to the funds is extinguished and the funds become seller earnings held by Zinn Hub pending payout.
- Seller earnings remain held by Zinn Hub until successfully paid out to the Zinner's configured payout method. Zinn Hub's obligation to pay seller earnings is subject to all conditions, deductions, holds, and forfeiture provisions set out in these Terms, which the Zinner accepts upon registration.
- Zinn Hub holds funds solely for the purpose of facilitating the transaction between buyer and seller. Zinn Hub is not the merchant of record for any sale.
- Zinn Hub is not acting as an escrow service, regulated payment institution, or fiduciary. The fund-holding arrangement exists solely to facilitate secure transactions on the Platform.
- Zinn Hub reserves the right to release, withhold, or refund held funds at its sole discretion in accordance with these Terms.
4.3 Platform Service Fee
Zinn Hub charges Zinners a Platform Service Fee (commission) for access to and use of the Platform. This fee is:
- A percentage of each completed transaction as outlined on our Pricing page
- Subject to change at any time without prior notice
- Non-refundable once charged
- The sole consideration for Platform access and services
We reserve the right to modify our fee structure, introduce new fees, or change existing fees at our sole discretion. Continued use of the Platform after any fee changes constitutes acceptance of the new fees.
5. Account Registration and Security
5.1 Account Creation
To access certain features, you must create an account. When registering, you agree to:
- Provide truthful, accurate, current, and complete information
- Maintain and promptly update your account information
- Keep your login credentials secure and confidential
- Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access or security breach
5.2 Account Integrity
You may not:
- Create multiple accounts without our express permission
- Share your account credentials with others
- Transfer or sell your account to another party
- Use another person's account without authorisation
- Provide false identity information
- Offer "Zinn Hub account setup" or similar services that resell or redistribute access to the Platform
5.3 Account Termination
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your account at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice, including but not limited to:
- Violation of these Terms
- Fraudulent, illegal, or harmful activity
- Extended inactivity (see Section 8.14)
- Request by law enforcement or government agency
- Unexpected technical or security issues
- Failure to provide requested identity verification
- Suspected sanctions violations or money laundering activity
5.4 Email Communications
By registering an account on Zinn Hub, you agree to receive transactional and system emails including but not limited to: order confirmations, delivery notifications, payment receipts, account security alerts, policy violation notices, inactivity reminders, content moderation notifications, Project and Proposal notifications, Invitation notifications, Migration Request updates, and enforcement action notices. These are essential platform communications and cannot be unsubscribed from while your account is active.
Marketing and promotional emails are separate from transactional communications and may be unsubscribed from at any time.
6. Zinner (Seller) Obligations and Responsibilities
6.1 General Obligations
As a Zinner, you agree to:
- Provide services as described in your listings accurately and honestly
- Deliver services within the agreed timeframe
- Communicate professionally and respond to messages in a timely manner
- Honour all commitments made in your service listings
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction
- Not offer prohibited services as outlined in our Acceptable Use Policy and Section 13
- Only use images, media, and content in your listings that you own the copyright for or have a valid licence to use
- Not provide services that infringe any third-party intellectual property rights, copyright, trademark, patent, or any other proprietary rights
- Not provide services that violate any applicable law, regulation, or industry standard in any jurisdiction
6.2 Merchant of Record Status
As a Zinner, you are the merchant of record for all transactions involving your services. This means:
- You are directly responsible for the sale to the Zinnector
- You bear all legal and financial responsibility for your transactions
- You are responsible for the quality and delivery of your services
- Any disputes regarding your services are primarily between you and the Zinnector
- Zinn Hub facilitates but does not assume liability for your transactions
- Zinn Hub's role in collecting and holding funds through Platform Payments does not transfer merchant of record status to Zinn Hub
6.3 Service Quality and Accuracy
Zinners must ensure that all service listings accurately represent the service that will be delivered. Specifically:
- Zinn descriptions, images, and examples must truthfully represent the service offered
- All images used in listings must be owned by the Zinner or used with valid licence β stock images must not be presented as examples of original work
- Delivery timeframes must be realistic and achievable
- Service capabilities must not be exaggerated or misrepresented
- Qualifications, experience, and credentials must be genuine
6.4 AI-Generated Content Disclosure
Where deliverables are substantially generated using artificial intelligence tools, Zinners should disclose this to the Zinnector either in their service listing or during order communication. Failure to disclose AI-generated content when the Zinnector has reasonably expected original human-created work may be considered misrepresentation.
6.5 Payment Accounts and Payout Configuration
Zinn Hub operates two payment modes: Direct Payments and Platform Payments (see Section 8 for full details). Connecting your own Stripe or PayPal account is optional but strongly recommended.
- If you choose to connect your own Stripe and/or PayPal accounts, you are solely responsible for creating and maintaining those accounts in good standing, complying with all terms and conditions of your chosen payment providers, resolving any issues or disputes with your payment providers, and any fees, holds, or restrictions imposed by your payment providers.
- If you do not connect your own accounts, all payments for your orders will be processed through Zinn Hub's platform payment accounts. You must configure a valid payout method in your Payment Settings to receive your earnings. By default, Zinn Wallet is set as your payout method until you select a different one (see Section 8.21).
- Failure to configure a valid payout method does not prevent orders from being placed or payments from being collected. Uncollected earnings due to missing or invalid payout configuration will be held and are subject to the dormancy provisions in Section 8.14.
- Failure to maintain payment provider accounts in good standing (for Direct Payments) may result in those payments reverting to Platform Payments.
6.6 Payment Processing Fees
For Direct Payments (through the Zinner's own Stripe or PayPal), the Zinner is solely responsible for all payment processing fees charged by their payment provider. These fees are between the Zinner and their provider and are separate from Zinn Hub's Platform Service Fee.
For Platform Payments (through Zinn Hub's accounts), the following deductions are made from the Zinner's earnings:
- Zinn Hub's Platform Service Fee (commission)
- Third-party payment processing fees charged to Zinn Hub by the payment processor (Stripe, PayPal, or NOWPayments) for processing the buyer's payment, passed through at cost
- Third-party payout fees charged to Zinn Hub by the payout provider for transferring earnings to the Zinner, passed through at cost
Zinn Hub does not charge any additional fees, markup, or surcharge on top of these deductions. Zinn Hub does not charge any fee for processing payouts β all payout-related deductions are third-party costs passed through at the exact amount charged to Zinn Hub. Payouts to the Zinn Wallet incur zero third-party fees as no external transfer is required.
6.7 Refund Responsibility
Zinners bear full financial responsibility for refunds on their orders. The mechanism by which the Zinner funds a refund depends on the original payment mode:
- For Platform Payment orders where funds are still held by Zinn Hub: the refund will be processed from the held funds and credited to the Zinnector's Zinn Wallet. The Zinner's earnings from that order will be reversed, including the Platform Service Fee.
- For Platform Payment orders where funds have already been paid out to the Zinner: the refund amount (including the Platform Service Fee from the original transaction and any payment processor fees incurred) will be deducted from the Zinner's pending earnings or future payouts, and the equivalent amount credited to the Zinnector's Zinn Wallet.
- For Direct Payment orders (where the Zinner already received the buyer's payment instantly through their own Stripe or PayPal account): the refund amount will be deducted from the Zinner's pending earnings or future Platform Payment payouts, and the equivalent amount credited to the Zinnector's Zinn Wallet. The Zinner does not separately refund the buyer through their own payment provider β refunds are processed centrally by Zinn Hub as a Zinn Wallet credit to the Zinnector.
- If deductions result in a negative balance on the Zinner's account, this negative balance will be recovered from future sales. Zinn Hub reserves the right to request immediate payment of any negative balance at any time. Failure to settle a negative balance upon request will result in the Zinner's account being frozen, inability to receive new orders, and any orders in progress may be cancelled at Zinn Hub's sole discretion.
Zinn Hub reserves the right to issue refunds (credited to the Zinnector's Zinn Wallet) at its sole discretion where it determines that the buyer's complaint is justified, including but not limited to cases of non-delivery, significant misrepresentation, or abandonment of the order. By using the Platform as a Zinner, you grant Zinn Hub permission to process such refunds on your behalf.
6.8 Chargeback Responsibility
Zinners are fully responsible for all chargebacks and payment disputes, regardless of whether the original payment was a Direct Payment or Platform Payment. This includes:
- The full chargeback amount
- Any chargeback fees imposed by payment processors
- Zinn Hub's Platform Service Fee from the original transaction
- Administrative fees associated with handling the dispute
- Any penalties or account restrictions resulting from excessive chargebacks
For Direct Payment chargebacks, these are handled through the Zinner's own payment provider. For Platform Payment chargebacks, the chargeback amount and associated fees will be deducted from the Zinner's pending earnings or future payouts, potentially resulting in a negative balance subject to the recovery provisions in Section 6.7.
Excessive chargebacks may result in temporary or permanent suspension of selling privileges, delayed payouts or extended hold periods, account termination, or legal action to recover losses. Zinners agree to cooperate fully with any chargeback investigation and provide all requested documentation promptly.
6.9 Tax Responsibilities
This includes but is not limited to:
- Income Tax: Reporting and paying taxes on all earnings from the Platform in every applicable jurisdiction
- Value Added Tax (VAT): Registering for, calculating, collecting, reporting, and remitting VAT where applicable
- Sales Tax: Compliance with sales tax requirements in all relevant jurisdictions
- Goods and Services Tax (GST): Where applicable in your jurisdiction
- Self-Employment Taxes: Social security, national insurance, or equivalent contributions
- Any other taxes: As required by local, regional, national, or international law
All prices on Zinn Hub are deemed to be TAX INCLUSIVE. Zinners must factor all applicable taxes into their service pricing. Zinners cannot request additional payment from Zinnectors for taxes after purchase. Zinners must maintain appropriate records for tax reporting purposes and issue invoices or receipts to Zinnectors upon request that comply with applicable tax laws.
Zinn Hub does not provide tax advice. We strongly recommend consulting with a qualified tax professional in your jurisdiction. Zinn Hub may report earnings to tax authorities as required by law and may provide annual earnings summaries for your records. Zinners may be required to provide tax identification numbers, complete tax forms, or submit documentation verifying tax compliance.
THE PLATFORM DOES NOT PAY TAXES ON BEHALF OF ZINNERS UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. All earnings received by Zinners (whether through Direct Payments or Platform Payouts) are gross amounts from which the Zinner is solely responsible for calculating and paying all applicable taxes.
6.10 Modern Slavery and Ethical Labour
Zinners represent and warrant that:
- All services are provided by themselves or by workers who are fairly compensated, working voluntarily, and not subject to any form of forced labour, servitude, or human trafficking
- They do not use exploitative labour practices, including but not limited to content farms, sweatshop operations, or any arrangement where workers are coerced, underpaid, or subjected to inhumane working conditions
- They comply with all applicable labour laws in their jurisdiction, including minimum wage requirements and working time regulations
- If they subcontract or outsource any part of their service delivery, they ensure their subcontractors also comply with these requirements
Zinn Hub reserves the right to investigate any suspected violations of this section and to report suspected modern slavery or human exploitation to the relevant authorities, including but not limited to the UK Modern Slavery Helpline, the National Crime Agency, and equivalent bodies in other jurisdictions. Confirmed violations will result in immediate and permanent removal from the platform and forfeiture of all funds.
6.11 Seller Inactivity Policy
To maintain a high-quality marketplace experience for Zinnectors, Zinn Hub monitors Zinner activity levels. If your account shows extended inactivity, the following graduated steps may apply:
- After 7 days without logging in (new accounts): You may receive a welcome reminder encouraging you to complete your store setup and begin accepting orders.
- After 30 days of inactivity: You will be notified that your store is showing as inactive to Zinnectors.
- After 60 days of inactivity: You will receive a further notice and your store's visibility in search results and marketplace listings may be reduced.
- After 90 days of inactivity: Your store and listings may be temporarily hidden from the marketplace.
Logging back in at any time will immediately restore your store's visibility and active status. Your products and listings are never deleted due to inactivity alone. Extended inactivity beyond 180 days is also subject to the dormant account provisions in Section 8.14.
7. Zinnector (Buyer) Obligations
As a Zinnector, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete requirements for ordered services
- Communicate clearly and professionally with Zinners
- Respond to messages and delivery submissions in a timely manner
- Pay for services in full at the time of purchase
- Not misuse the refund or dispute process
- Provide honest and fair reviews based on actual experience
- Not engage in fraudulent chargebacks or payment disputes
- Review the Zinner's service description, store policies, and any applicable terms before placing an order
- When posting Projects, comply with all buyer obligations set out in Section 10A
- Acknowledge that all approved refunds are credited to your Zinn Wallet (see Section 8.20 and Section 10) and never returned to your original payment method
- Accept that once an order is marked as complete (whether by manual acceptance or auto-acceptance), the transaction is final as set out in Section 10
8. Payments, Pricing, and Transactions
8.1 Pricing
All prices displayed on Zinn Hub are set by individual Zinners. Prices are displayed in the currency specified on the Platform. All prices submitted by Zinners on the Platform are deemed to be TAX INCLUSIVE. This means:
- Prices must include all applicable taxes (VAT, sales tax, GST, etc.)
- Zinners are responsible for calculating and accounting for taxes within their pricing
- Zinnectors will not be charged additional taxes at checkout beyond the displayed price
- Zinners cannot add taxes to orders after purchase
8.2 Payment Methods
Zinn Hub accepts the following payment methods:
- Credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) via Stripe
- PayPal
- Apple Pay and Google Pay (where enabled through PayPal)
- Cryptocurrency (USDT and USDC via NOWPayments) β available on every listing by default
- Zinn Wallet β closed-loop USD balance held by the Zinnector's account, available at checkout for full or partial payment
Available payment methods may vary by region and are subject to change. Zinn Hub reserves the right to add new payment methods, remove existing payment methods, or change payment processors at any time without prior notice. Any new payment methods or processors added to the Platform will be enabled by default.
8.3 Two Payment Modes
DIRECT PAYMENTS β Where a Zinner has connected their own Stripe and/or PayPal accounts via Payment Settings in their Zinner Dashboard, buyer payments for card and PayPal orders are processed directly through the Zinner's own accounts. The Zinner receives payment instantly at the point of sale minus the Platform Service Fee. Direct Payments are subject to the terms and conditions of the Zinner's own payment provider (Stripe or PayPal).
PLATFORM PAYMENTS β Where a Zinner has not connected their own Stripe or PayPal, or for all cryptocurrency orders regardless of the Zinner's account configuration, buyer payments are processed through Zinn Hub's platform payment accounts. Zinn Hub collects and holds the funds until the order is completed and accepted. The Zinner's earnings are then paid out automatically every Friday to their chosen payout method, subject to the conditions in Section 8.7.
Both payment modes may be active simultaneously. A Zinner who has connected their own Stripe or PayPal will receive Direct Payments for card and PayPal orders through their own accounts, while cryptocurrency orders will always be processed as Platform Payments.
Buyers see the same full range of payment options at checkout regardless of which payment mode applies. The payment mode affects how and when the Zinner receives their earnings, not the buyer's checkout experience or the buyer's protection. All approved refunds are credited to the Zinnector's Zinn Wallet regardless of payment mode (see Section 8.20).
There is no option to disable Platform Payments. The only way for a Zinner to receive Direct Payments instead of Platform Payments for card and PayPal orders is to connect their own Stripe and/or PayPal accounts. Zinn Hub reserves the right to modify, add, or remove payment processors used for Platform Payments at any time.
8.4 Platform Payment Fund Holding
For Platform Payment orders:
- Funds are collected by Zinn Hub at the time of purchase
- Prior to order completion and acceptance, funds are held on behalf of the buyer. If a refund is required, the refund will be credited to the buyer's Zinn Wallet (see Section 8.20)
- Upon order completion and acceptance, the buyer's claim to the funds is extinguished and the funds become seller earnings held by Zinn Hub pending payout
- Seller earnings remain held by Zinn Hub until successfully paid out to the Zinner's configured payout method
- Zinn Hub's obligation to pay seller earnings is subject to all conditions, deductions, holds, and forfeiture provisions set out in these Terms, which the Zinner accepts upon registration
- Zinn Hub reserves the right to withhold, release, or refund held funds at its sole discretion in accordance with these Terms
- Funds are not released to the Zinner until the order has been both delivered by the Zinner AND accepted by the Zinnector (or auto-accepted as set out in Section 8.5)
8.5 Order Completion and Auto-Acceptance
An order is considered complete when:
- The Zinner delivers the work AND the Zinnector accepts the delivery; OR
- The Zinner delivers the work AND the auto-acceptance period expires without the Zinnector raising a dispute or requesting revisions
The auto-acceptance period is currently 5 (five) days from the date of delivery. Zinn Hub reserves the right to adjust the auto-acceptance period at any time and may override the auto-acceptance period on individual orders at its sole discretion.
For Direct Payment orders, the Zinner has already received payment at the point of sale. Order completion confirms the transaction is finalised. For Platform Payment orders, completion triggers the transition of funds from buyer-held to seller earnings pending payout, for inclusion in the next scheduled payout.
8.6 Payout Methods
For Platform Payment earnings, Zinners can choose from the following payout methods, configured in Payment Settings in their Zinner Dashboard:
| Method | Details |
|---|---|
| Zinn Wallet (default) | Earnings credited instantly to the Zinner's Zinn Wallet with zero third-party fees. Default for new Zinners (see Section 8.21). |
| PayPal | Paid to the Zinner's PayPal email address |
| Cryptocurrency | USDT or USDC paid to the Zinner's crypto wallet address |
| UK Bank Transfer | Direct to a UK bank account |
| SEPA Bank Transfer | For European bank accounts |
| US Bank Wire | Direct to a US bank account |
| Payoneer | Paid to a Payoneer account |
Zinn Hub reserves the right to add new payout methods, remove existing payout methods, or change payout providers at any time without prior notice. By registering as a Zinner, you accept that the available payout methods may change during your use of the Platform.
8.7 Payout Schedule and Conditions
Platform Payment payouts are processed automatically every Friday, subject to the following conditions:
- MINIMUM PAYOUT THRESHOLD: The Zinner's earned balance from completed orders must be at least $50 USD. If the balance is below $50, it rolls over to the following Friday and continues to accumulate until the threshold is met. Zinn Hub reserves the right to adjust the minimum payout threshold at its discretion. Wallet payouts honour the same minimum payout threshold as every other payout method.
- COMPLETED ORDERS ONLY: Only earnings from orders that have been both delivered and accepted (or auto-accepted) by the Zinnector are eligible for payout. Earnings from orders still in progress or delivered but not yet accepted are held as pending and will roll over to the next Friday payout upon completion.
- VALID PAYOUT METHOD REQUIRED: The Zinner must have a valid payout method configured in their Payment Settings. New Zinners default to Zinn Wallet (see Section 8.21). If no payout method is configured or the configured method is invalid, payouts cannot be processed and earnings will accumulate subject to the dormancy provisions in Section 8.14.
- ACCOUNT IN GOOD STANDING: Payouts may be withheld if the Zinner's account is under review, suspended, or subject to a dispute investigation.
8.8 Payout Deductions
Platform Payment payouts are calculated as follows: the gross order amount, minus the Platform Service Fee (commission), minus third-party payment processing fees (charged by the payment processor at the time the buyer's payment was collected, passed through at cost), minus third-party payout fees (charged by the payout provider for transferring funds to the Zinner, passed through at cost).
Zinn Hub does not charge any additional fee, markup, or surcharge for processing payouts. All deductions beyond the Platform Service Fee are third-party costs passed through at the exact amount charged to Zinn Hub. Payouts to the Zinn Wallet incur zero third-party fees, as no external transfer is required β only the Platform Service Fee and the original payment processing fee from the buyer's payment apply.
8.9 Backup Payout Method
Zinners may configure a backup payout method in their Payment Settings. Zinn Hub reserves the right to pay to the Zinner's backup payout method at any time if the primary payout method fails, is unavailable, or at Zinn Hub's sole discretion.
8.10 Failed Payouts
If a payout fails due to incorrect account details, a closed or frozen account, an invalid wallet address, a rejected or returned transfer, or any other reason attributable to the Zinner's payout configuration:
- The Zinner is solely responsible for providing accurate and valid payout details. Any money sent to incorrect accounts, wrong wallet addresses, invalid details, or frozen or closed accounts is the Zinner's responsibility and Zinn Hub shall not be liable for any resulting loss.
- Funds returned to Zinn Hub from failed payouts may be added back to the Zinner's account balance at Zinn Hub's sole discretion.
- Multiple failed payouts will result in automatic payouts being suspended for that Zinner.
- If a payout configuration is not corrected within 30 days of automatic payouts being suspended, Zinn Hub will send an email notification to the Zinner's registered email address warning that payouts are failing. A second notification will be sent at 60 days. If the payout configuration is not corrected within 180 days of automatic payouts being suspended, and Zinn Hub has made at least two reasonable attempts to notify the Zinner via their registered email address, any accumulated funds will be forfeited and the Zinner will have no further claim to those funds.
8.11 Cryptocurrency-Specific Payout Terms
For Zinners who choose cryptocurrency (USDT or USDC) as their payout method:
- WALLET ADDRESS ACCURACY: The Zinner is solely responsible for providing accurate wallet addresses. Cryptocurrency transactions are irreversible. Zinn Hub shall not be liable for any funds sent to incorrect, invalid, or mistyped wallet addresses.
- NETWORK SELECTION: For cryptocurrencies that operate on multiple networks, the Zinner must select the correct network when adding their wallet address. Funds sent to an address on an incorrect network may be permanently lost, and Zinn Hub accepts no liability for such losses.
- NETWORK FEES: Transaction and network fees charged by our crypto payment processor (NOWPayments) are deducted from the payout and passed through at cost. These fees are subject to change β current rates can be found on the NOWPayments website.
8.12 Currency Conversion
Where Platform Payment orders involve currency conversion (for example, where the buyer pays in one currency and the Zinner's payout is in another), Zinn Hub is not liable for exchange rate fluctuations. Conversion rates are determined by the payment processor or payout provider at the time of payout, not at the time of sale. For cryptocurrency orders paid out to a non-crypto payout method, the amount will be converted to USD using whichever is lower: the USD equivalent at the point of sale or the USD equivalent at the exchange rate on the day of transfer.
8.13 Payout Delays
Zinn Hub shall not be liable for any delay in processing Friday payouts due to technical issues, system maintenance, power outages, internet outages, service provider outages, payment processor downtime, or any other circumstances beyond Zinn Hub's reasonable control. In such cases, the affected payouts will be processed on the following Friday or as soon as reasonably practicable thereafter.
8.14 Dormant Accounts and Unclaimed Funds
A Zinner account that has not been logged into for 180 consecutive days will be classified as dormant. Upon classification as dormant, Zinn Hub will send a notification to the Zinner's registered email address advising that their account is dormant and that uncollected earnings are at risk of forfeiture.
If the Zinner does not log in and configure a valid payout method within 365 days of the account being classified as dormant, and Zinn Hub has made at least two reasonable attempts to notify the Zinner via their registered email address, all accumulated funds will be forfeited. Once forfeited, the Zinner will have no further claim to those funds, even if they subsequently log in or attempt to reactivate their account.
Any orders in progress at the time of dormancy classification may be cancelled at Zinn Hub's discretion and refunds issued to the affected Zinnectors. It is the Zinner's sole responsibility to maintain an active account, configure valid payout details, and ensure earnings are collected in a timely manner.
8.15 Account Balance on Termination
For termination due to serious violations (including but not limited to fraud, money laundering, sanctions violations, modern slavery, intellectual property theft, fake reviews, or off-platform payment circumvention):
- All Platform Payment funds held in the Zinner's account balance will be permanently forfeited
- No payout will be made
- The Zinner will have no claim to any funds
- A lifetime ban will be applied with no right of return
For termination due to other violations:
- All pending payouts will be held for a period of 180 days to cover potential chargebacks, refunds, or disputes
- After the 180-day hold period, any remaining balance β minus any amounts owed to Zinn Hub including negative balances, chargeback costs, and refund liabilities β will be paid out to the Zinner's last configured payout method, provided a valid method is on file
- If no valid payout method is configured at the end of the hold period, the funds will be subject to the failed payout provisions in Section 8.10
In all cases, funds do not belong to the Zinner until they have been successfully paid out to the Zinner's payout method. Zinn Hub reserves the sole right to determine the classification and severity of any violation.
8.16 Extended Payout Hold Periods
Zinn Hub reserves the right to extend the payout hold period beyond the standard Friday cycle for individual Zinners, including but not limited to:
- New Zinners who have not yet established a track record on the Platform
- Zinners with a history of disputes, chargebacks, or refund requests
- Zinners whose accounts are under review or investigation
- Any situation where Zinn Hub reasonably believes an extended hold is necessary to protect buyers or the Platform
8.17 Right to Modify Payment Infrastructure
Zinn Hub reserves the right to, at any time and without prior notice:
- Add new payment processors, payment methods, or payout providers
- Remove or discontinue existing payment processors, payment methods, or payout providers
- Change the terms, fees, or conditions associated with any payment method or payout method
- Enable new payment methods by default on all listings
- Modify the payout schedule, minimum threshold, or payout conditions
By registering as a Zinner, you consent to all such changes and agree that continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of any modifications to the payment infrastructure.
8.18 $500 Platform Fee-Free Introductory Offer
The following terms govern the $500 fee-free introductory offer:
- One per person: The $500 fee-free allowance is strictly limited to one per individual, regardless of the number of accounts held. It is not available per account β it is available per person. If you have previously claimed or benefited from this offer on any Zinn Hub account, you are not eligible again.
- Threshold and tier activation: The fee-free allowance applies to your first $500 of cumulative completed sales revenue (gross order value before any deductions). Once your cumulative sales exceed the $500 threshold, the Platform Service Fee for your applicable commission tier applies to the entire order that crosses the threshold β not just the portion above $500.Example: If you have earned $450 in completed sales and your next order is $100, that order crosses the $500 threshold. The Platform Service Fee for your applicable tier will be charged on the full $100 order, not just the $50 above the $500 mark. The fee-free period ends at the point the threshold is crossed.
- No retroactive fees: Orders completed within the fee-free period that did not cause the threshold to be crossed will not be retroactively charged a Platform Service Fee.
- Subject to standard terms: All other terms in these Terms and Conditions continue to apply during the fee-free period, including third-party payment processing fees (which are not waived), payout conditions, refund responsibility, and all seller obligations.
- Not transferable: The fee-free allowance cannot be transferred, sold, or assigned to another person or account.
8.18.1 Multi-Account Abuse of the Fee-Free Offer
If Zinn Hub determines that an individual has created or operated multiple accounts for the purpose of abusing the $500 fee-free introductory offer, or for any other purpose prohibited under Section 5.2, the following enforcement actions will apply:
- Immediate and permanent ban: All accounts associated with the individual will be terminated immediately with a lifetime ban and no right of return.
- Forfeiture of all funds: All pending earnings, account balances, and any funds held across all associated accounts will be permanently forfeited.
- Recovery of waived fees: All Platform Service Fees that were waived under the fee-free offer across all associated accounts become immediately due and payable in full within 7 (seven) days of notification. Zinn Hub reserves the right to deduct these amounts from any account balances before forfeiture, and to pursue recovery of any remaining balance through all available legal means.
- Debt recovery: If the total amount of waived fees owed exceeds the funds held in the individual's accounts, the outstanding balance constitutes a debt owed to Zinn Digital LTD. Zinn Hub reserves the right to refer this debt to a collections agency or pursue legal action for recovery.
8.19 Commission Structure and Membership Plans
Zinn Hub operates a tiered commission structure based on cumulative sales volume. The current commission tiers and rates are published on our Pricing page.
- New Zinners receive a 0% commission period on their first $500 of cumulative sales, as detailed in Section 8.18.
- After the fee-free introductory period, tiered commission rates apply based on cumulative sales volume.
- Zinners on paid membership plans (e.g. Pro, Agency) may receive reduced commission rates and other benefits such as higher Proposal limits on Projects (see Section 10A). The specific rates and benefits of each plan are detailed on our Pricing page.
- Commission rates and tier thresholds may be updated from time to time. Changes will be communicated via email and will apply to orders placed after the effective date of the change.
8.20 Refund Destination β Zinn Wallet
This single-destination refund policy applies to:
- Orders paid in full or in part with Zinn Wallet credits
- Orders paid by credit or debit card (via Stripe)
- Orders paid by PayPal, Apple Pay, or Google Pay
- Orders paid by bank transfer
- Orders paid by cryptocurrency (USDT, USDC, or any other supported cryptocurrency)
- Orders paid by any combination of the above (split-tender)
- Both Platform Payment orders and Direct Payment orders
- Refunds arising from order cancellations, dispute resolutions, goodwill adjustments, or any other refund scenario covered by these Terms
The credited amount reflects the original transaction value in USD. Zinn Wallet credits are immediately available to spend on any Zinn, Custom Offer, or Project on the Platform. By placing an order on Zinn Hub, you acknowledge and accept that any approved refund will be issued to your Zinn Wallet rather than returned to your original payment method.
This policy exists to provide buyers with instant, consistent refunds across every payment method β eliminating the delays associated with card refund processing, the irreversibility of cryptocurrency transactions, and the complexity of split-tender returns. Zinn Wallet credits cannot be withdrawn to an external account.
8.21 Default Payout Method β Zinn Wallet
The default-payout policy operates as follows:
- New Zinners: When a Zinner registers, their payout method is automatically set to Zinn Wallet. Earnings from completed Platform Payment orders will credit the Zinner's Zinn Wallet on the next scheduled payout run, with zero third-party fees, until the Zinner selects a different payout method (PayPal, Cryptocurrency, UK Bank Transfer, SEPA, US Bank Wire, or Payoneer) in their Payment Wizard settings.
- New Ambassadors: When a new user joins the Zinn Hub Ambassador programme, their payout preference is automatically set to Zinn Wallet. Referral commissions, once marked paid, will credit the Ambassador's Zinn Wallet immediately, with zero third-party fees, until the Ambassador selects a different payout preference in their ambassador dashboard Settings tab.
- Existing Zinners and Ambassadors with a payout method or preference already configured at the time this policy takes effect retain their existing choice. Their payout method or preference is not changed automatically. They may opt in to Zinn Wallet at any time by selecting it in their dashboard.
- Switching is always available. Any Zinner or Ambassador may change their payout method or preference at any time by visiting the relevant settings area in their dashboard. Changes take effect on the next payout run after the change is saved. Any balance already held in the Zinn Wallet at the time of switching remains in the wallet and may be spent on the Platform.
By registering as a Zinner or as an Ambassador, you acknowledge and accept that Zinn Wallet is the default payout method or preference for your account. If you wish to receive payouts to an external account (such as PayPal, a bank account, a Payoneer account, or a cryptocurrency wallet), you must actively configure that method in your dashboard settings before your first payout run. Any payout that runs while Zinn Wallet remains your configured method or preference will credit your wallet, regardless of any external preference you may communicate elsewhere.
Zinn Hub reserves the right to change the default payout method or preference at any time. Any change to the default will only affect new accounts registered after the change takes effect; existing accounts will continue to use whichever method or preference they have configured.
9. Cryptocurrency Payments
Cryptocurrency payments on Zinn Hub are processed through NOWPayments. Currently supported cryptocurrencies include USDT and USDC. Cryptocurrency payment is enabled by default on every listing.
9.1 Cryptocurrency Orders Are Always Platform Payments
Cryptocurrency orders are always processed as Platform Payments (see Section 8.3) regardless of the Zinner's payment configuration. Funds are collected and held by Zinn Hub until the order is completed and accepted, at which point they become seller earnings pending payout in accordance with Section 8.
9.2 Equal Buyer Protection
9.3 Refunds for Cryptocurrency Orders
As with all refunds on the Platform, any approved refund on a cryptocurrency order is credited to the buyer's Zinn Wallet in USD in accordance with Section 8.20 and Section 10. Refunds are not returned to the original cryptocurrency wallet, as cryptocurrency transactions are irreversible by design and the Zinn Wallet provides a faster, more reliable refund mechanism with the same end value to the buyer.
The credited refund amount reflects the USD value of the original transaction at the time of payment. Currency conversion losses arising from cryptocurrency price movements between the time of payment and the time of refund are not reimbursed.
9.4 Buyer Acknowledgment for Cryptocurrency Orders
By completing a cryptocurrency payment on Zinn Hub, you acknowledge and agree that:
- Your order is protected by the same dispute and refund rights as any other order on the Platform
- Any approved refund will be credited to your Zinn Wallet in USD rather than returned to your cryptocurrency wallet
- You have reviewed the Zinner's profile, reviews, and service details before purchasing
- You understand that the Zinn Wallet is a closed-loop USD balance that can be spent on any Zinn, Custom Offer, or Project on the Platform but cannot be withdrawn to an external account
10. Order Finality, Refunds, and Disputes
This Section governs the rules that apply when an order is cancelled, when a refund is requested, or when a dispute arises. The full plain-language explanation of how cancellations, disputes, and refunds operate on the Platform β including negotiation rounds, response windows, refund eligibility, the no-labour-yet 100% refund rule, the resolution outcomes available on dispute, vendor self-resolution, withdrawal mechanics, post-resolution lockout, and how refund amounts are sourced behind the scenes β is published at zinnhub.com/refund-policy/ and is incorporated into these Terms by reference. In the event of any conflict between that page and the provisions of this Section, the provisions of this Section prevail. The hierarchy set out in Section 19.3 applies in full to any such conflict.
10.1 Finality of Completed Orders
Upon order completion:
- The Zinnector cannot raise a dispute, request a refund, or seek to reverse the transaction through Zinn Hub
- For Platform Payment orders, funds transition to seller earnings pending payout
- The Zinnector accepts full responsibility for reviewing the delivered work within the acceptance period before accepting or allowing auto-acceptance
Zinnectors are strongly advised to thoroughly review all delivered work before accepting an order. The auto-acceptance period exists to provide adequate time for review. If you need additional time, communicate with the Zinner before the period expires.
10.2 Refund Policy (Pre-Completion Only)
Refund eligibility is evaluated on a case-by-case basis and is only available BEFORE an order has been marked as complete. This refund policy applies equally to all payment methods including card, PayPal, bank transfer, and cryptocurrency. Refunds may be considered when:
- The order was not delivered by the deadline without communication or agreed extension
- The Zinner is completely unresponsive
- The delivered service fundamentally does not match what was described in the listing
Refunds are NOT available for:
- Change of mind after order placement
- Subjective quality preferences
- Services delivered as described but not to personal taste
- Requests outside the original order scope
- Orders that have been accepted or auto-accepted
10.3 Resolution Tracks: Cancellations and Disputes
If issues arise with an order before it has been completed, Zinn Hub provides two on-platform resolution mechanisms, each accessible directly from the order page:
- Communicate first. Use the Platform's order messaging system to attempt direct resolution with the other party. Most issues are resolved at this step.
- Use the Cancel Order or Raise Dispute button on the order page. If direct conversation does not resolve the matter, click the relevant button on the order page. The Platform automatically attaches the full order context β order number, delivery history, message thread β and routes the case to the appropriate resolution track. There is no need to email support or copy your order number anywhere.
Cancellations are negotiated directly between the Zinner and Zinnector through the Platform, with a structured response window per round (currently 72 hours per round, up to three rounds). Refunds approved through cancellation may be full or partial as agreed between the parties, subject to the rules and limits set out at zinnhub.com/refund-policy/. If no agreement is reached after three rounds, or if either party actively escalates, the case is automatically routed to the dispute track for Zinn Hub admin review.
Disputes are reviewed by the Zinn Hub resolution team. The responding party has a defined window (currently 48 hours) to submit their side of the case, after which Zinn Hub will make a determination based on the available evidence, these Terms, and our policies. The resolution team may request additional information from either party. Zinn Hub's decision on disputes is final and binding.
Where a cancellation or dispute is resolved in favour of the Zinnector and a refund (full or partial) is approved, the refund is credited to the Zinnector's Zinn Wallet in accordance with Section 8.20.
10.4 Dispute Timeframe
Disputes must be raised BEFORE the order is accepted or auto-accepted. The auto-acceptance period (currently 5 days from delivery) represents the maximum window for raising concerns about delivered work. Once an order is complete, no further disputes will be considered through Zinn Hub.
For Direct Payment orders, the Zinnector may still have access to dispute mechanisms through their payment provider (card issuer or PayPal) subject to those providers' own policies and timeframes. Zinn Hub is not responsible for the outcome of any third-party payment dispute. Any refund issued by Zinn Hub remains subject to Section 8.20 and is credited to the Zinnector's Zinn Wallet.
10.5 Fraudulent Disputes
Filing fraudulent refund requests, disputes, or chargebacks is strictly prohibited and may result in:
- Immediate account termination
- Forfeiture of any pending funds
- Legal action to recover losses
- Reporting to relevant authorities and fraud databases
11. Taxes and Legal Compliance
11.1 Zinner Tax Responsibilities
As set out in Section 6.9, each Zinner is solely and fully responsible for all tax obligations. Zinn Hub:
- Is not responsible for Zinner or Zinnector tax obligations
- Does not withhold taxes on behalf of Zinners (except where legally required)
- Does not calculate, collect, or remit taxes on behalf of Zinners
- May report earnings to tax authorities as required by law
- May provide annual earnings summaries for your records
- Does not pay taxes on behalf of Zinners under any circumstances
11.2 No Tax Advice
Zinn Hub does not provide tax advice. We strongly recommend consulting with a qualified tax professional in your jurisdiction to understand your obligations.

- The Zinnector receives rights to use the deliverables for their intended purpose

- Specific IP terms should be clarified in the service description, Proposal, or direct communication

- Misrepresenting your identity or qualifications
- False or misleading service descriptions, Project briefs, Proposals, or Freelancer Profiles
- Bait-and-switch tactics
- Impersonating others
- Using stock images or third-party work as examples of your own original work without disclosure

Violations of these prohibitions will be addressed through a graduated enforcement approach depending on the severity of the violation:
- First minor violation: Warning and required corrective action
- Repeated minor violations: Temporary suspension of account and/or selling privileges
- Serious violations: Immediate and permanent removal from the platform (lifetime ban) with no right of return and forfeiture of all funds
The following are considered serious violations warranting immediate permanent removal: fraud, money laundering, serious misrepresentation, intellectual property infringement, off-platform payment circumvention, fake reviews, modern slavery or exploitative labour, sanctions violations, abuse of the Projects or Migration systems, and any activity that endangers the safety of Platform users.
Zinn Hub reserves the sole right to determine the severity of any violation and the appropriate enforcement action.
13.7 Account Enforcement Actions
We reserve the right to take the following actions on accounts that violate our Terms, based on automated detection or manual review:
- Watchlisting: Your account may be placed on an internal watchlist for enhanced monitoring. You will not necessarily be notified when watchlisting is applied.
- Soft locking: Certain account privileges may be temporarily restricted while an investigation is ongoing. This may include restrictions on withdrawals, new orders, Proposal submissions, Project posting, or messaging.

- Project and Proposal blocking: Specific users may have Project posting or Proposal submission privileges removed while their account remains otherwise active.
- Account banning: Accounts found to be in serious or repeated violation of our Terms may be permanently suspended. This includes cancellation of all pending payouts, referral commissions, and active orders where appropriate.
We will notify you of enforcement actions via your registered email address where practicable. Some enforcement actions (such as watchlisting) may be applied without notification where prior notice would compromise the integrity of the investigation.
13.8 Content Moderation
Zinn Hub actively monitors content on the Platform, including product listings, store pages, Freelancer Profiles, portfolios, Project briefs, Proposals, images, and URLs. We may take the following moderation actions:
- Remove or replace images that contain off-platform contact details, links to competing marketplaces, or inappropriate content

- Edit or remove content that violates these Terms or our Acceptable Use Policy
You will be notified via email when moderation action is taken on your content, including the reason for the action. If you believe a moderation decision was made in error, you may contact Zinn Hub Support to request a review.
14. Security, Fraud Prevention, and Monitoring
14.1 Device Fingerprinting and Activity Monitoring
By using Zinn Hub, you consent to the use of device fingerprinting, browser fingerprinting, and activity monitoring technologies for the purpose of fraud prevention, security, and Platform integrity. This includes but is not limited to:
- Collection of device identifiers, browser characteristics, and session data
- VPN detection and real IP address identification
- Tracking of user activities, behaviours, and patterns on the Platform
- Cross-referencing device and network data to detect multiple accounts, ban evasion, or suspicious activity
- Logging of IP addresses, geolocation data, and access patterns
This monitoring is conducted for the legitimate purpose of protecting buyers, sellers, and the Platform from fraud, scams, and abuse. By using the Platform, you consent to this monitoring at all times during your use of the Services.
14.2 Identity Verification and KYC
Zinn Hub reserves the right to request identity verification from any user at any time, including but not limited to:
- Before processing the first payout to a new Zinner
- At any point during the Zinner's use of the Platform
- When suspicious activity is detected
- As part of anti-money laundering (AML) compliance
- When required by law, regulation, or payment processor requirements
Acceptable identity verification requires original, unaltered government-issued identification documents. If identity verification is requested and not provided within a reasonable timeframe, or if the documentation provided is unacceptable, incomplete, or suspected of being fraudulent:
- Payouts will not be processed
- The account may be suspended or terminated
- All funds held in the account will be retained by the Platform
14.3 Anti-Money Laundering
Zinn Hub is committed to complying with applicable anti-money laundering (AML) regulations. We reserve the right to:
- Monitor transactions for suspicious patterns
- Report suspicious activity to the relevant authorities, including but not limited to the National Crime Agency (NCA) and equivalent bodies in other jurisdictions

- Require additional documentation or verification at any time
14.4 Sanctions Compliance
Users must not be located in, resident in, or acting on behalf of any country, territory, entity, or individual subject to economic sanctions imposed by the United Kingdom, the European Union, the United States, or any other applicable jurisdiction. Zinn Hub reserves the right to block access, freeze funds, and terminate accounts where sanctions violations are suspected.
14.5 Account Monitoring and Automated Systems
We employ automated and manual monitoring systems to protect the integrity of the marketplace. By using the Platform, you acknowledge and agree that:
- Your account activity, including login patterns, browsing behaviour, messaging activity, Project and Proposal activity, and transaction history, may be monitored for fraud prevention and policy compliance purposes.
- We may generate internal risk and trust assessments based on your account activity. These scores are used by our team to prioritise reviews and investigations. They are not shared with other users.
- We may cross-reference account details (including payout method hashes) across multiple accounts to detect duplicate or fraudulent registrations.
- We may use AI-powered systems (such as Zinn Platform Monitor) to screen content, detect policy violations, and analyse account behaviour.
- Accounts flagged by our systems may be placed under review, during which certain features may be temporarily restricted.
Automated monitoring is conducted for the legitimate interests of protecting all Platform users and maintaining marketplace integrity. You have the right to request human review of any automated decision that significantly affects your account by contacting us at [email protected].
14.6 Buyer Insights and Seller Information
For Zinnectors (Buyers): By placing orders on the Platform, you agree that Zinners you transact with may see aggregated information about your order history, trust level, review patterns, and payment reliability. This information is designed to help Zinners provide better service and make informed decisions. Zinners do not have access to your personal contact details, financial information, internal risk scores, or your activity with other Zinners.
For Zinners (Sellers): Buyer insights are provided to help you make informed service decisions. You must not:
- Use buyer insight data to discriminate against Zinnectors
- Share buyer insight data with third parties
- Use buyer insight data for any purpose outside the Platform
- Attempt to identify or contact Zinnectors outside of the Platform based on insight data
Misuse of buyer insight data is a violation of these Terms and may result in account suspension or termination.
Buyer insights may include: a general trust tier (e.g. Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum) based on the Zinnector's platform history; total number of completed orders, average spending, order frequency, and membership duration; review rate, average rating given, and general acceptance and rejection tendencies; and payment reliability indicators such as successful payment history and refund rates.
15. Privacy and Data Protection
Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
By using Zinn Hub, you consent to the collection, use, and sharing of your information as described in our Privacy Policy, including the security monitoring and device fingerprinting described in Section 14.
15.1 Seller Data Handling Obligations
Zinners who receive personal data, files, login credentials, or other sensitive information from Zinnectors during the course of service delivery are independently responsible for:
- Handling such data in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018
- Maintaining confidentiality as specified in their store policies
- Securely deleting all Zinnector data within 30 days of order completion unless a longer retention period is agreed with the Zinnector
- Not using Zinnector data for any purpose other than fulfilling the specific order
- Notifying the affected Zinnector and Zinn Hub immediately in the event of any data breach
Zinners who receive customer data indemnify Zinn Hub against any claims, liabilities, or losses arising from their handling of that data.

17.3 Jurisdictional Limitations
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability. In such jurisdictions, our liability shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

19. Zinner Store Policies
19.1 Zinner's Right to Set Store Policies
Zinners have the right to establish their own store policies through the My Store wizard in their Zinner Dashboard (Step 6 β Policies). These policies may include, but are not limited to:
- Refund and cancellation terms specific to their services
- Revision policies and limitations
- Delivery timeframes and expectations
- Communication and response time commitments
- Data handling and confidentiality procedures
- Service-specific terms and conditions
Zinner store policies are displayed on their individual store pages and within their service listings. It is the Zinnector's responsibility to review and understand a Zinner's store policies before placing an order.
19.2 Contractual Relationship
When you place an order on Zinn Hub, you enter into a direct contractual relationship with the Zinner providing the service. By completing a purchase, you expressly agree to and accept:
- Zinn Hub's Terms and Conditions (this document)
- Zinn Hub's Global Marketplace Policies
- The individual Zinner's Store Policies (where applicable)
This acceptance is automatic upon order placement. You cannot selectively accept or reject individual policies after completing a purchase.
19.3 Hierarchy of Policies
In the event of any conflict between policies, the following hierarchy applies:
- Applicable Law β Legal requirements always take precedence
- Zinn Hub Terms and Conditions β These overarching Terms cannot be overridden
- Zinn Hub Global Marketplace Policies β Platform-wide standards and protections
- Zinner Store Policies β Individual seller terms that operate within the framework above
Zinner store policies may provide additional terms or customise certain aspects of the service relationship, but they cannot:
- Contradict or undermine these Terms and Conditions
- Remove or diminish core buyer protections established by Zinn Hub
- Violate applicable laws or regulations
- Undermine the integrity of the Zinn Hub marketplace
19.4 Default Global Policies
If a Zinner has not established their own store policies, or where their policies do not address a specific matter, Zinn Hub's Global Marketplace Policies shall apply in full. Zinners who do not set custom policies are deemed to have accepted and adopted our global policies as their own.
19.5 Zinnector's Duty to Review Policies
Before placing any order, Zinnectors are strongly advised to:
- Review the Zinner's store page for any published policies
- Read the full service description, including any terms mentioned
- Ask the Zinner directly if any policies are unclear
- Ensure they understand and accept the refund and revision terms
Failure to review a Zinner's store policies does not exempt you from being bound by them. By placing an order, you acknowledge that you have had the opportunity to review all applicable policies and agree to be bound by them.
19.6 Data Handling by Zinners
Some services may require Zinnectors to share personal data, files, login credentials, or other sensitive information with Zinners. The Zinner's obligations regarding data handling are set out in Section 15.1.
Zinnectors should:
- Only share information necessary for the service
- Review the Zinner's data handling policy before sharing sensitive information
- Understand that Zinn Hub is not responsible for how Zinners handle data shared directly with them
19.7 Disputes Involving Zinner Policies
In the event of a dispute relating to a Zinner's store policies:
- The Zinner's published policies at the time of order placement shall be referenced
- Zinn Hub may review whether the policies were clearly communicated
- Zinn Hub's determination on policy disputes is final
Zinners are encouraged to maintain clear, fair, and easily accessible store policies to minimise disputes and build buyer confidence.
19A. Freelancer Profiles and the Directory
19A.1 The Freelancer Profile
Zinners may create a public Freelancer Profile, displayed at a URL of the form zinnhub.com/freelancers/{username}/. Published Profiles are indexed in the public Freelancer Directory at zinnhub.com/freelancers/ and are visible to logged-out visitors, buyers, and search engines. By publishing a Profile you consent to this public visibility.
A published Freelancer Profile is also a prerequisite for submitting Proposals on Projects (see Section 10A.3).
19A.2 Profile Accuracy
You are responsible for the accuracy of all information published on your Profile, including but not limited to: display name, professional headline, biography, skills, experience, qualifications, hourly rate, project rate ranges, location, timezone, availability, portfolio entries, social links, and featured Zinns. Misrepresentation of skills, qualifications, or experience on a Profile is a violation of Section 6.3 and may result in enforcement action under Section 13.6.
19A.3 Portfolio Content
All content uploaded to the portfolio section of your Profile, including images, descriptions, and linked case studies, must be your own original work or content that you have a valid licence to display and distribute. Presenting stock imagery, third-party work, AI-generated imagery, or the work of others as examples of your own original output is prohibited. AI-assisted work must be disclosed in line with Section 6.4.
19A.4 Indicative Rates
Hourly rates, project rate minimums and maximums, and any other pricing displayed on a Freelancer Profile are indicative only. Binding prices for any engagement are set by the relevant Zinn listing, the price specified in an accepted Proposal, or a Custom Offer (ZCO). Zinn Hub does not guarantee that a Zinner will honour their indicative profile rates on any specific Order, and makes no representation as to the accuracy of indicative pricing.
19A.5 Profile Moderation
Zinn Hub reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to review, edit, hide, unpublish, or permanently remove any Freelancer Profile. Profiles may be moderated for accuracy, quality, policy compliance, intellectual property concerns, suspected misrepresentation, or any other reason Zinn Hub deems appropriate.
19A.6 The Freelancer Directory
The Freelancer Directory is a curated, public-facing feature operated by Zinn Hub. Zinn Hub determines the ranking, filtering, surfacing, and display of Profiles in the Directory and reserves the right to change ranking factors, algorithms, filters, and presentation at any time without notice. Inclusion in the Directory is a privilege granted by Zinn Hub, not an entitlement, and can be revoked at Zinn Hub's sole discretion.
19A.7 Discovery, Invitations, and Messaging
Publishing a Profile makes you discoverable to buyers who may send you direct Invitations to bid on Projects (see Section 10A.4) or direct messages via Better Messages. By publishing a Profile you consent to receive such Invitations and messages while your Profile remains published. You may unpublish your Profile at any time to opt out of direct discovery. Unpublishing a Profile does not terminate any Projects or Orders already in progress.
20. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time at our sole discretion. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the Platform unless otherwise stated.
This includes but is not limited to changes to payment methods, payout methods, payment processors, fee structures, commission rates, payout schedules, Proposal limits, Directory ranking factors, Migration service scope, and any other commercial or operational terms.
For material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify users via email or prominent Platform notice. However, it is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically.
Your continued use of the Platform after any changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you must stop using the Platform.
21. Termination
21.1 Termination by You
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using account closure features if available. Termination does not relieve you of obligations incurred prior to termination, including any negative balance owed to Zinn Hub.

- Violation of these Terms
- Suspected fraudulent or illegal activity

21.3 Effect of Termination

- Provisions intended to survive termination shall remain in effect, including Sections 6.7, 6.8, 6.9, 8.15, 12, 17, and 18
22. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
22.1 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law principles.
22.2 Jurisdiction
You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales for the resolution of any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of the Platform.
22.3 Waiver of Class Actions
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to resolve disputes with us on an individual basis and waive any right to participate in class actions, class arbitrations, or representative actions.
23. General Provisions
23.1 Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other policies referenced herein, constitute the entire agreement between you and Zinn Digital Ltd regarding your use of the Platform.
23.2 Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
23.3 Waiver
Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms shall not be deemed a waiver of that provision or our right to enforce it later.
23.4 Assignment
You may not assign or transfer your rights under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations without restriction.
23.5 Notices
We may provide notices to you via email, Platform notifications, or posting on our website. You may contact us using the information provided below.
23.6 Force Majeure
We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, pandemic, government actions, infrastructure failures, power outages, internet outages, or third-party service provider outages.
24. Migration Services
24.1 Overview
Zinn Hub offers a voluntary Migration service through which Zinn Hub staff may import a Zinner's existing service listings, pricing, packages, and/or reviews from another freelance marketplace (such as Fiverr, PeoplePerHour, Upwork, Freelancer.com, Legiit, SEOClerks, Guru, or others) into Zinn Hub. The Migration service is offered free of charge. Migration Requests are submitted via zinnhub.com/migrate/.
24.2 Discretionary Service
The Migration service is provided entirely at Zinn Hub's sole discretion. Zinn Hub is under no contractual obligation to complete any specific Migration Request. We reserve the right to decline, delay, pause, or cancel any Migration Request for any reason, including but not limited to: the request falling outside the scope of the service; suspected misrepresentation; inability to verify ownership of the source listings; quality, content, or legal concerns; or capacity constraints.
24.3 Proof of Ownership
Migration Requests require the requesting user to provide reasonable proof of ownership of the source platform account, typically in the form of a screenshot of the source account dashboard. Zinn Hub relies on this evidence in good faith and is not liable for any consequences arising from a user submitting a Migration Request for an account or listing they do not own. Submitting false, forged, or misleading ownership evidence is a serious violation of these Terms.
24.4 Accuracy of Migrated Data
Zinn Hub will take reasonable care to migrate data accurately from the source platform. However:
- Zinn Hub does not independently verify the authenticity, genuineness, or accuracy of reviews, ratings, or testimonials on the source platform beyond the ownership evidence provided
- The requesting user is responsible for reviewing migrated listings and imported reviews after completion and for promptly reporting any inaccuracies, omissions, or errors
- Zinn Hub is not liable for any loss, damage, dispute, or reputational harm arising from imported data, including imported reviews that are later found to be inauthentic, inaccurate, or misattributed
- It is the sole responsibility of the requesting user to ensure that migrated content does not infringe any third-party intellectual property, trademark, or other rights
24.5 Content That Cannot Be Migrated
Images watermarked with the branding, logo, or identifying marks of another platform cannot be imported. The requesting user may supply fresh unwatermarked images with their request or may elect to have the listing saved as a draft so that images can be added later.
24.6 Turnaround
Zinn Hub aims to complete Migration Requests within 48 hours of submission, but does not guarantee any specific turnaround time. No compensation, goodwill credit, or fee waiver is due in respect of any delay in completing a Migration Request.
24.7 Limits and Abuse
Zinn Hub may limit the number of Migration Requests per user, per type, per listing, or per time period, and may adjust these limits at any time. Abuse of the Migration service β including but not limited to submitting requests for accounts or listings that the requester does not own, submitting repeated or duplicative requests for the same listing, attempting to seed fake or fabricated reviews onto the Platform through the Migration channel, or any other conduct that undermines the integrity of the service β is a serious violation of these Terms and will result in account termination under Section 13.6, forfeiture of funds under Section 8.15, and removal of any content imported through the abusive request.
24.8 No Warranty on Migration Service
The Migration service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis with no warranty of any kind, express or implied. Zinn Hub disclaims all liability for any loss or damage arising from the Migration service, including but not limited to errors or omissions in migrated data, delayed turnaround, declined or cancelled requests, or imported reviews that are later found to be inauthentic.
