How Fastwork works, and what it publishes

Fastwork is a fixed-price services marketplace. Freelancers publish packaged listings across roughly 300 categories and buyers purchase them directly, with a buyer-protection scheme Fastwork calls the Fastwork Guarantee, under which funds are protected from the start of work until the buyer accepts. It is a packaged-gig model rather than hourly bidding — which is why a move to Zinn Hub is mostly a copy-and-paste job.

Fastwork publishes its seller commission as a sliding scale, banded by rolling three-month accumulated sales in Thai baht: 18% at Member level, 17% at Bronze, 16% at Silver, 15% at Gold, 14% at Platinum and 13% at Diamond. Its own footnote on the same page adds that accumulated sales count only approved orders, and that your tier recalculates as approved orders land.

Two things are worth knowing before you compare. Those are the Thailand tables, and the commission page is switched by locale — the Indonesian and Vietnamese figures should be read on their own pages rather than assumed. And the brand is not the same everywhere: Fastwork operates as fastwork.co in Thailand and fastwork.id in Indonesia, but in Vietnam it trades under a different name, Fastlance, at fastlance.vn.

Moving your packages across

A packaged listing is the closest thing there is to a Zinn, so this is the easiest kind of move there is.

  2. Paste a listing into Import My Services

    Open Import My Services, paste a listing or a whole profile, and it rebuilds it as a ready-to-review Zinn. Ten imports are free and images are included.

  3. Work through the three wizards

    Store Setup, Payment Setup and Zinn Creation. Payment Setup is where you connect your own Stripe or PayPal so buyers can pay you at checkout.

  4. Switch on the other two channels

    Publish your freelancer profile so buyers can find you directly, then start answering briefs on Projects. Proposals cost nothing to send.

What the import tool actually does. Import My Services is free and self-serve — there is no queue and no one to wait for. In its own words it is “Import From Anywhere”: wherever you sell, you copy the listing or profile and paste it in. It has named shortcuts for seven platforms plus an Other Platforms option, which is the one to use for Fastwork. Roughly two minutes per Zinn, and you preview and confirm before anything is submitted.

Your reviews and your reputation. The tool can bring across up to ten of your reviews, word for word. What no tool can move is standing: reviews on Zinn Hub require a confirmed purchase, so the record you build here comes from orders placed here. Expect that to be the slow part, and price for it — a couple of $10 Micro Zinns is a cheap way to get real orders and real reviews on the board while the bigger listings find their feet.

What to bring, and what to rewrite. Packages, scope and FAQs usually port straight across. Two things are worth rewriting rather than pasting: anything that refers to Fastwork’s own mechanics, and anything priced in another currency — all Zinn Hub prices are in USD. Rewrite your baht price tiers as USD packages before you import, and check that your delivery times still read correctly for buyers outside your own market.
