What Truelancer publishes about its fees
Truelancer is a full-spectrum freelance marketplace operating from India: buyers post projects and receive proposals, freelancers also publish packaged Services, and the platform runs contests as well. Payments run through a wallet with milestone approval, and INR sits alongside USD as a settlement currency. If you use both the bidding and the packaged-service side, the Zinn Hub equivalents are Projects and Zinns respectively.
Truelancer documents its fees unusually clearly, and quotes them itself. On the buyer side: “Truelancer.com does not charge a fee to the Buyers/Employers. Truelancer.com only passes on payment processing fee (charged by third party payment processors) on deposit of funds.” On the seller side: “Truelancer.com charges Sellers/Freelancers a Service Fee of 8% to 10% on all billed works as per their membership plan.” The same page sets a proposal allowance of 20 free proposals a month on a non-premium account, with additional proposal credits sold in packs.
One thing worth reading carefully on that page: the 8–10% service fee is not the same charge as the 10% commission described for a non-delivery refund raised after 30 days. They are two distinct things documented in the same place, and comparison articles routinely run them together.

Store Setup, Payment Setup and Zinn Creation. Payment Setup is where you connect your own Stripe or PayPal so buyers can pay you at checkout.
Switch on the other two channels
Publish your freelancer profile so buyers can find you directly, then start answering briefs on Projects. Proposals cost nothing to send.
What the import tool actually does. Import My Services is free and self-serve — there is no queue and no one to wait for. In its own words it is “Import From Anywhere”: wherever you sell, you copy the listing or profile and paste it in. It has named shortcuts for seven platforms plus an Other Platforms option, which is the one to use for Truelancer. Roughly two minutes per Zinn, and you preview and confirm before anything is submitted.
Your reviews and your reputation. The tool can bring across up to ten of your reviews, word for word. What no tool can move is standing: reviews on Zinn Hub require a confirmed purchase, so the record you build here comes from orders placed here. Expect that to be the slow part, and price for it — a couple of $15 Micro Zinns is a cheap way to get real orders and real reviews on the board while the bigger listings find their feet.
What to bring, and what to rewrite. Packages, scope and FAQs usually port straight across. Two things are worth rewriting rather than pasting: anything that refers to Truelancer’s own mechanics, and anything priced in another currency — all Zinn Hub prices are in USD. Convert INR prices to USD before you import, and rewrite any package that was priced around a proposal-credit budget — you no longer need to ration your bids.
