Switch from Workana to Zinn Hub

Workana runs two separate businesses — a project marketplace and a vetted team-hiring service. If you are on the marketplace side and weighing up where else to sell, Zinn Hub offers 0% commission on your first $500, payment into your own PayPal or Stripe, and three ways to win work instead of one.

Three ways to earn on Zinn Hub

Most marketplaces give a freelancer one route to a buyer. Zinn Hub gives you three. Use one, two or all three.

ZinnsFixed-price listings

Publish a service package with a set price and scope. A buyer reads it, buys it at checkout and the work starts — no call, no proposal, no negotiation.

LoyihalarBepul takliflar

Buyers post a brief and you send a proposal explaining how you would do it. Posting a project is free and so is sending a proposal — there are no bidding credits to buy.

Freelancer DirectoryInbound hires

A public profile with your skills, rates and portfolio. Buyers filter the directory and approach you directly — no listing to buy, no brief to answer first.

You write your services once. They sell as fixed-price Zinns, back your Project proposals, and fill out your Directory profile.

What Workana publishes about itself

Everything in this section comes from Workana’s own website and help centre. Workana runs three business units on different terms, so a single headline number would not be accurate.

Workana is two businesses, not one

Workana’s own homepage splits into “I want to hire Developers” and “I want to hire Freelancers”. Those are two product lines: Workana Marketplace for one-off and short-term project work, and Workana Talent, a vetted hiring service for building a team. Describing Workana as only a freelance marketplace would be inaccurate.

What it charges the customer

Workana’s own help centre states that the customer pays a service cost of 4.5% of the total, with a minimum of USD 2, plus a processing cost that varies by payment method and by the client’s country. It also states that creating a profile, creating a project and sending proposals are free.

What it charges the freelancer

On its Self-Service unit Workana publishes a relationship-tiered commission: it begins at 20% with a new client and falls as that client’s cumulative payments to you grow — down to 5% at the top band. Workana states separately that its Prime and Enterprise units are a flat 10%, so one number does not describe the whole platform.

Where it operates and in what languages

Workana’s own about page describes it as a Latin American freelance and remote-work platform with a presence in Southeast Asia, and its site is published in three languages — English, Spanish and Portuguese. Its demand side is explicitly aimed at US companies hiring Latin American talent.

What to weigh up before you move

These are the questions Zinners ask us most often when they are deciding where to sell next.

You want the rate tied to you, not to each client

A commission that resets with every new client rewards long relationships and penalises new ones. Zinn Hub’s rate is tied to your lifetime sales: 0% on your first $500, then tiered rates that fall as you sell — as low as 7% on Agency Zinner, whoever the buyer is.

You want more than proposals

Bidding is one channel. Zinn Hub gives you three: fixed-price Zinns a buyer can purchase outright without any back-and-forth, Projects you send free proposals to, and a public Freelancer Directory buyers hire from directly.

You want the money to land in your account

Connect your own PayPal or Stripe and buyers pay you directly at checkout, into your own merchant account. There is no platform balance to withdraw from and no minimum to reach first.

You want to sell in Spanish and Portuguese

Zinn Hub is browsable in 45 languages, including Spanish and Portuguese, and buyers can message you in 57. Prices are set and charged in USD, with 59 display currencies so a buyer sees an approximate figure in their own money.

You want to earn without a bidding budget

Posting a project on Zinn Hub is free, and so is sending a proposal — there are no bidding credits to buy. Every membership tier carries a proposal allowance that resets every 30 days: 25 on free, 100 on Pro, 1,000 on Agency.

You want to test a new market cheaply

Micro Zinns are fixed-price services at $5, $10, $15 or $20. They are the fastest way to win a first buyer and a first confirmed-purchase review on a brand-new profile.

How to move your listings across

You do not have to retype anything. Import My Services is a free self-serve tool: paste a listing, or your whole profile, and it drafts your Zinns for you.

  1. Bepul ro'yxatdan o'tish

Create your Zinner account. No subscription, no card. Every feature is on the free membership from day one.

  2. Paste your listings in

Open Import My Services, paste a Workana listing or your whole profile, and it drafts your Zinns. 10 free imports, images included, and you confirm before anything is submitted.

  3. Run the three wizards

The Store Setup Wizard, Payment Setup Wizard and Zinn Creation Wizard walk you through your storefront, how you want to be paid, and your first listing.

  4. Open your other two channels

Finish your Freelancer Directory profile so buyers can find you without a listing, and start sending free proposals on Projects.

What happens to your reviews and your rating

Be realistic: no marketplace can import another marketplace’s ratings as its own. What Import My Services can do is carry across up to 10 of your reviews, word for word, inside the listing it drafts — so a buyer can still read what your past clients said. From there you build a record here, and reviews on Zinn Hub require a confirmed purchase. A Micro Zinn at $5 to $20 is the quickest way to get the first one on the board.

Switching from Workana — your questions answered

No. Zinn Hub has no exclusivity requirement, so you can keep your Workana profile and proposals running while you build up here. Most Zinners run both for a while and shift focus once Zinn Hub work starts arriving.
Use Import My Services. It is free and self-serve: paste a listing, or your whole profile, and it drafts ready-to-review Zinns, images included. You get 10 free imports, and nothing is submitted until you have previewed and confirmed it.
No marketplace can import another marketplace’s ratings as its own. Import My Services can carry across up to 10 of your reviews, word for word, inside the listing it drafts. Your rating here is then built from orders here, and reviews on Zinn Hub require a confirmed purchase.
Yes. Spanish and Portuguese are both among Zinn Hub’s 45 site languages, so your listings and the whole site can be browsed in either. You can also set a separate communication language, so you read the site in one language and are messaged in another.
Connect your own PayPal or Stripe account and buyers pay you directly at checkout — into your merchant account, not a platform balance you withdraw from later. Zinners who instead offer platform-protected payments are paid from the payout queue once the order completes.
Digital and remote services of every kind — writing, design, development, marketing, video, audio, data and AI work. List them as fixed-price Zinns, as Micro Zinns from $5 to $20, or win custom work by proposal on Projects.
Proposals are free — there are no bidding credits or connects to buy. There is an allowance that resets every 30 days: 25 proposals on the free Zinner membership, 100 on Pro and 1,000 on Agency. Posting a project as a buyer is free too.
A buyer who chooses a Platform Protected Zinner has their payment held by Zinn Hub until the order completes, and any refund goes to their Zinn Wallet in full, in USD. Disputes and cancellations are handled by the Zinn Hub team — reach us through the contact page.
