Codeable’s terms state that it “offers IT consultancy services… through qualified, independent IT consultants engaged by Codeable”, that “there will be no contractual relationship between the Client and any Experts”, and that appointing the specific expert is “Codeable’s sole and absolute right”. On that basis this page describes Codeable as a vetted WordPress project-delivery platform, not a marketplace.

The 17.5% service fee — pricing page, help centre and clause 4.4.2

The pricing page shows “17.5% FIXED”, the help centre states that “Codeable adds a 17.5% service fee on top of the expert’s estimate”, and clause 4.4.2 records it as “17.5% of the estimate… added to the estimate”. It is paid by the client, on top of the estimate, and Codeable’s own word for it is a profit margin, not a commission.

Refunds — clause 4.12.1

The profit margin is stated to be non-refundable, irrespective of whether the statement of work is met or terminated. Recorded here as a published term.

Codeable does not publish, on its pricing page, its help centre or in its client terms, what if anything it deducts on the expert's side. No developer-side figure appears on this page, and this page does not claim developers pay nothing — neither statement is verifiable from a first-party source.

How the price is set — clause 4.2.3

Where two or more experts submit an estimate, Codeable calculates an average, and that average plus the profit margin becomes the fixed price “irrespective of the choice of Expert”. Its help centre explains that it uses estimation rather than bidding.

Recommended rates of USD 80 to 120 per hour; payment escrowed in advance and released when the client marks the project complete; clause 4.10 commits Codeable to fix bugs found within 28 calendar days of completion; clause 3.1.3 requires all platform content to be in English; pricing in USD; Danish law and the Copenhagen court under clause 8.7.1.
