Păstrarea contului în siguranță

Protect your Zinn Hub account from unauthorised access — with a strong password, two-factor authentication, and the know-how to spot a scam.

Password Security

Create a strong password:

  • Length— at least 12 characters
  • Complexity— a mix of uppercase, lowercase, numbers and symbols
  • Uniqueness— don't reuse a password from another site

Examples:

  • Weak: password123
  • Better: MyD0g$Name!2024
  • Best: use a password manager to generate and store a long, random password

Change your passwordin the

Account & Securitysection of your dashboard, and do it immediately if:

  • You suspect it's been compromised
  • You've used the same password on a site that was breached
  • You've shared it with someone

Turn On Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

Two-factor authentication is the single best step you can take to protect your account. With 2FA switched on, signing in needs both your password (or magic link)

anda one-time code from your authenticator app — so even if someone learns your password, they still can't get in.

How to turn it on:

Good to know:

  • Once 2FA is on, every sign-in — by password or magic link — asks for a current code from your app.
  • Your 10 backup codes are single-use stand-ins for when you can't reach your phone. You can issue a fresh set any time with Regenerate backup codes.
  • If you ever lose access to both your authenticator app and your backup codes, contact support. For your security, our team can only switch 2FA off for you (never view your codes) so you can sign back in and set it up again.

Email Security

Your email is the key to account recovery, so protect it:

  • Use a strong, unique password for your email account
  • Enable 2FA on your email account too
  • Don't share email access
  • Watch for phishing attempts

Recognising Phishing

Red flags:

  • Emails asking for your password

  • Don't enter your password on unfamiliar sites
  • Check the URL carefully — it should be zinnhub.com
  • Report suspicious emails to support

Safe Browsing

  • Only log in on official Zinn Hub pages
  • Check for HTTPS (the padlock icon)
  • Avoid logging in on public computers
  • Log out when you're done on shared devices
