Zinn Images is a built-in tool for Zinners (sellers/freelancers on Zinn Hub) that lets you generate, manage and use images for your Zinns (your service listings) — without hiring a designer or wrestling with graphics software. This guide covers creating images with AI, guiding the result with your own pictures (reference images), and Translate Images, which shows buyers your listing images with the text inside them translated into their language.
A quick note on our words: Zinners are sellers, Zinnectors are buyers, Zinns are service listings, and Micro Zinns are small, fixed-price mini-services. Zinn Images is a seller tool — it isn't available to buyers.
Unde să-l găsești
Zinn Images lives in your dashboard, in the Zinner Tools area, under the Image Creator tab. The in-app route is /dashboard/zinner/tools/?tool=image-creator. Because your dashboard is login-protected, you'll normally reach it from the sidebar (Tools → Image Creator) rather than by typing the address. The creator opens right inside the page — there's no separate site to visit.
Part 1 — Creating images with AI
Zinn Images generates cover images, listing images and social images from a short description. Here's how:
- Open Tools → Image Creator in your dashboard.
- Write a clear description of the image you want — be specific about the scene, style, colours and mood.
- Choose your options: format (WebP recommended, or PNG/JPEG), a compression slider to balance file size against quality, an optional transparent background where the image allows, and a colour scheme and purpose to steer the style.
- Generate. The image is produced in the background and appears when it's ready — you don't have to sit on a frozen screen.
Every image you make for a Zinn listing automatically carries a small “zinnhub.com” watermark. It's applied for you and marks the image as yours on the platform.
Your private gallery
Every image you generate is saved to your private gallery — only you can see it. From the gallery you can search by name, tag or prompt, filter by favourites, rename images, add tags, mark favourites, download, edit with AI, or delete.
Part 2 — Reference images: guide the result with your own pictures
Reference images let you steer what the AI creates, so the result looks the way you want rather than being a shot in the dark. This feature is live and fully working. You'll find it in the Image Creator form, in the field labelled “Reference images / image to edit (optional).”
- Add up to four reference images per generation — PNG, JPEG or WebP, up to 25 MB each.
There are two ways to use it:
- Style guidance — “make it look like this.” Add your brand assets, a product photo, or a previous cover, and the AI generates a new image from your description while matching the style of the references. Ideal for a consistent look across your listings.
- Edit or restyle your own image — “change this picture.” Upload one of your own images and describe the change; the AI edits or restyles that image according to your description.
Advanced: mask editing
For precise work, an advanced mask option lets you upload a PNG with transparency marking the area you want changed — the AI edits only that region and leaves the rest untouched. Handy when you want to change one part of an image without regenerating the whole thing.
Part 3 — Translate Images: show your images with translated text
Zinn Hub is a global marketplace where buyers browse in many languages. Translate Images makes your listing images fit right in by translating the text inside the image into other languages — so a buyer reading the site in another language sees the words in your image in their language, with the rest of the design unchanged.
What it actually does
It creates a per-language version of a listing image in which only the visible text has been translated. Everything else — layout, composition, colours, fonts, logos and graphics — is kept the same. It doesn't redraw or re-theme your image, and it never translates the brand names Zinn, Zinner, Zinnector or Zinn Hub. This is an AI-made version of your image, matched to the original as closely as possible — a best-effort recreation, not a guaranteed pixel-perfect copy, which is exactly why you review and approve every version before it can go live.
Where to find it, and who can use it
Translate Images is at /dashboard/zinner/image-localization/, and it's open to verified Zinners. If your account isn't verified yet, you'll see a notice inviting you to get verified rather than the tool itself. Verification keeps the marketplace trusted for buyers; once you're verified, the tool becomes available. You can start verification at /verify/.
How buyers see your translated images
- You generate a translated version of an image for a target language — it's created as a draft first.
- You review and approve it.
- Once approved, when a buyer browses a non-English version of the site (for example a Spanish /es/ page), your original image is automatically swapped for the matching translated version as the page loads.
English-language visitors and administrators always see your original image — the swap only happens on non-English versions of the site, and only for images that have an approved translated version.
Doing it at scale
You don't have to translate images one at a time. Approve all and Generate all actions let you work through a whole language in one go, and an optional background auto-pilot can create translated versions automatically across your images and the site's active languages. It has a per-image-type opt-in (main image, gallery, portfolio, example images) and starts with your main images by default until you widen it. Coverage spans Zinns and Micro Zinns (featured, gallery and work-example images, plus portfolio images) and freelancer/project profile and portfolio images.
Credits — how usage works
- New sellers get free starter credits when their seller role is set up, so you can try it straight away.
- Each image you generate or edit uses a credit. If you run low, you'll see a gentle low-balance banner; if you're out, generation pauses until you top up.
- Buy more credits as credit packs, priced in US dollars (USD), from the Image Creator page — larger packs cost less per image.
- If a generation fails for any reason, your credit is automatically refunded, and prompts are checked before a credit is taken — so you won't lose a credit to a blocked or failed generation.
Using your images in a listing
Images you generate for listings are sized to work with the Zinn creation flow — just download the image from your gallery and upload it as your listing image when you create or edit a Zinn.
