I turn audio, scans, and messy spreadsheets into files you can actually use.
Most of my work is transcription and captions. Podcasts, interviews, Zoom calls, YouTube videos, meeting recordings. You send the file, I send back a clean transcript with timestamps and speaker labels, or an SRT that actually syncs. The rest is data work: typing scanned documents into Word, pulling PDF tables into Excel without the columns falling apart, entering receipts, cleaning up a spreadsheet somebody built in 2019 that nobody has touched since.
Here is how I work, and I would rather say it up front than have you find out later. I use AI tools for the first pass. Then I listen to the whole thing myself and fix it. Automatic transcription is fast and it is also wrong in specific, predictable places: names, numbers, crosstalk, accents, anything technical, anybody who mumbles. That gap is the part you are paying me for. You get the speed of the machine plus a person who checked the bits machines get wrong.
What that means in practice: most jobs under 30 minutes come back the same day. Bigger ones get a real date from me instead of a hopeful one, and if something is going to slip you hear it from me first.
A few things I do not do. I do not translate. English only, and I would rather turn the job down than hand you something I cannot check myself. I do not take legal or medical work that needs a certification I do not hold. I do not bill hours I did not work.
I work out of Walla Walla, Washington, on Pacific time, and I am at the desk most of the day. Message me at nine at night and you will probably still get an answer. You are talking to me the whole way through. No team, no account manager, no handoff to somebody you have never spoken to.
